"Hello, are you the new assistant of Margo and her sister Denniel?" Doctor Greg asked, is also a Pathologist who will accompany Denniel to the Morgue. He is tall and handsome even at this age.

But it looks good and they get along.

"Yeah.. you're Doc Greg too aren't you?" This polite question.

"Yes, your sister Margo's friend. Hays. it's a pity we didn't stay together with your sister Margo. I hope, I become your older brother either. " Pretend it's sad. So he and his sister have a past? Did they have a relationship before? How? But why don’t we know?

"Ah, Doc Greg.. do you and my sister have a past?" Curious if the question. I looked at his face. I saw him smiling at me.

"Of course nothing.. but it almost would have happened if my wife hadn't just turned on me now." He answered, me very scratching his head.

"I thought so.. Haha!" He said laughing.

"Ahm.. but I think your sister still has a crush on me. She's mean to me.." he whispered, mixed with jokes.

"Hahaha! You're really funny Doc. Greg!" She laughed heartily. She didn't know but she laughed at what Doc Greg was saying.

"Why is your laugh so horrible to listen to?" He wrinkles his forehead to say Denniel. Denniel fell silent suddenly. Thinking of what she would answer. This is how I laugh. Why what is wrong?

"It's just fun. it's funny what you're saying?" She replied. Greg looked straight at it. But I looked down again. He swallows saliva. Her appearance was different because she had roots on the side of her face he didn't know what it was?

"Hays.. you are!" Doc Greg is just shaking. But the truth is he is nervous.

"You didn't believe what I said. Just like everyone else didn't believe me when I told the story. But it didn't hurt." He said to Denniel.

"Not really.." she replied. He just smiled at her and was just shaken.

"Do you believe in life after death?" He asked. They are inside the Morgue. In front of them was the newly arrived corpse of a man.

"Yes." She answered sparingly.

"Why?" Doc asked her.

"Because it won't be long.. she will live and stop those who owe him." She answered seriously, not smiling at Doc's face.

"Ah, That's right, isn't it? " He answered firmly, Greg's hands suddenly trembled. He saw something that reminded him of the past.

"You don't understand?" She asked Doc. Greg. But it just nodded at him.

Sighed. "No, then, when you're dead you won't live again." He replied, sweat forming on the side of his face.

"Who knows.." she said.

"There is a soul that is not at peace and there is something important, that she could not do when she was alive.. but because of the heartless killer, she did not do what she wanted and she escaped death because she still wanted to stay here on earth. But she can only do that when she joins," she said explaining to him.

"Why did she die?" He asked, her eyes teary.

"She committed suicide because of depression that she was raped by five men she was so hurt because even the last person to help her, hurt her and locked her in the warehouse." She replied. Denniel looked at Greg again. It's quiet. He took a deep breath and spoke again.

"That soul was not silent until it came to the point that she thought of joining the body of another, the way she wanted revenge!" She glanced at the person next to him again but it was only a matter of time before she looked up.

"Was she able to join?" Greg asked gently. She is carried away by Daniel's story.

"Maybe. I'm not sure. You, be careful when you go home!" She said seriously,

There is intimidation.

Greg did not immediately respond to what was said to him. It looked up with astonishment. But because he wasn't sure of his intuition. He immediately retracted what was being said here. He had been urinating with nervousness and fear earlier but he just kept it to himself.

"Just a joke.." she recovered. "By the way, let's get to work. This is the first day at work I'll just be out for a while." He nodded. He was left alone inside the Morgue. He was facing the newly arrived dead. While waiting for his assistant he secretly drank stomach-strengthening alcohol he still had a chance to feel souls wandering around. Sometimes he goes through drinking. He saw that the light was turned off and he was surprised when the dead body disappeared in front of him. Suddenly there was also silence around. He will wonder if the dead are in front of him. Haha! He stood up in shock that the woman was in front of him. Where did she go? The woman. She backed away in fear.  You.

"You shouldn't have lived, you're dead.. dead!" He shouted, He took a pair of scissors and stabbed him with it. But he could not move his hand. His hand was a twitch. He was overcome with pain. He also felt that he had lost his intestines, Liver, Brain, Heart, lungs and it also cut off his penis. His eyes widened looking at the woman. She's the demon.

Kim was restless, she peeked out the door. She was looking forward to Denniel coming home. It suddenly disappeared from the hospital. She did not know where to find it. She woke up suddenly in a comatose state after the accident, the doctor thought it would be a long time before she woke up, but she woke up after 24hrs. Soon she heard the gate open and close. She peeked outside. But, Kim is jumped in panic! When Denniel suddenly appeared in front of her.

Its hands were bloody and puzzled. Kim is scared of Daniel's appearance. She didn’t know what to think at those times. There was also blood on the side of her face that was drying up.

"What's wrong with you? Where are you from? Why are you bloody with your clothes on?" Concerned about her voice. But she didn't say a word, she just silently watched her bloody hands.

She took a deep breath then looked at her face. "Kim, just in case.. they did something wrong, will you forgive them?" It asked him, she took a deep breath. Then it was answered.

"Yes, because the person who forgives has God's mercy--" she exclaimed in shock as the glass outside was shattered. The cold air came in and the feathers on Kim's skin were rising.

"Why?" Her voice trembled. She saw no strange reaction on Daniel's face. It was just calm and it seemed like she was even happy to fly her, hair in the air.

"No... no, God, Kim.." She shouted, which surprised him.

"What are you saying there?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Kim's scared right now.

"Your god won't save you all, Haha!" She looked at her with a loud laugh. Her forehead furrowed. In what it says. She feels like another person Denniel. She is no longer the former Denniel but who is she.. maybe I was just hallucinating. Hope so not!

The dark laugh from the basement sent fear rushing through all of them again. But Cheska forced herself to think. Her mind moved fast, trying to connect everything they had seen. The locked room. Her grandfather’s grimoire. The strange, unsettling portraits. All of it pointed to something far worse than a simple gas leak. While her friends stayed close together, shaking with fear, Cheska looked down at the small leather journal in her hands. It was her grandfather’s. The same journal her mother warned her about… the same one Lola Elena tried to hide.“This,” Cheska said firmly, her voice cutting through the panic, “is our only chance. My grandfather’s journal. It might have answers… or at least help us understand what we’re facing.”Marco, his face pale, slowly nodded. “She’s right. We need to know what that thing is… and how to stop it.”Ben tightened his grip on the iron poker. He looked at the journal, fear and hope mixed in his eyes. “Do you think it tells us how to fight it?”Ch

The door burst open with a loud crack, followed by a deep, animal-like roar. It was a sound Cheska knew she would never forget. A huge shadow filled the doorway. She couldn’t clearly see its form in the darkness, but she could feel it—heavy, suffocating, and full of evil. The whispers grew louder, turning into a deafening chorus. It felt like the voices were coming straight from the creature itself—hundreds, maybe thousands, all screaming the same word.“Mine… mine… mine…”Lia let out a piercing scream, raw and full of fear. Ben, who had been trying to act brave earlier, stumbled backward. He tripped over a fallen book and hit the floor hard. Marco stood frozen for a second, his face pale with shock, before quickly pulling Cheska behind him, trying to protect her—even if it felt useless against something like this. But Cheska didn’t move.Fear still gripped her chest, cold and tight, but something else was rising inside her—something stronger. Determination. The images she saw from th

  • NIGHTSHIFT    Chapter 21- Lock room terror

The door to the locked room slammed shut with a loud, echoing bang, trapping them in a darkness so thick it felt like it was swallowing them whole. For a moment, no one could see anything—not even their own hands. Then the sounds came. The frantic scratching in the hallway grew louder, faster, more desperate. The low, guttural growling turned into something far worse—a deep, chilling roar that seemed to shake the floor beneath them. It wasn’t just outside… it felt close. Too close. And then, the whispers. At first, they were faint. But slowly, they grew louder, clearer—twisting together into a terrifying chorus of voices. Cold. Angry. Hungry.“Mine… mine… mine…”The word repeated over and over, crawling into their ears, slipping into their minds like a poison they couldn’t escape.Panic gripped Cheska’s chest, sharp and suffocating. She could barely breathe. Beside her, Lia was screaming—a desperate, high-pitched cry that echoed in the darkness before being swallowed completely, as if

  • NIGHTSHIFT    Chapter 20- Fear and Resolve

The malevolent chuckle that came from behind the basement door shattered what little composure they had left. It wasn’t just a normal sound—it felt wrong, unnatural, like something ancient and thinking was hiding just beneath their feet. The kind of sound that didn’t belong in the world of the living. Then came the silence. It pressed down on them, heavy and suffocating, as if the house itself was holding its breath… waiting to see what they would do next.Lia broke first. She sobbed openly, her whole body shaking as if she might collapse at any moment. Ben, his face pale and lifeless, bent down to pick up the iron poker he had dropped. His hands trembled so badly that it slipped from his grip once before he finally managed to hold it tight.Marco—always the calm one, the one who never panicked—stood frozen. His eyes were wide, filled with fear that mirrored Cheska’s own. For the first time, he looked completely unsure of himself. But Cheska… her fear felt different.Yes, she was terr

  • NIGHTSHIFT    Chapter 19- Tonio's Secret

Mang Tonyo’s departure left a deeper silence behind, heavier than before. It felt like the whole house had swallowed his presence, leaving only a cold and uneasy feeling. His strange warnings and unclear answers made everything more mysterious. Cheska couldn’t shake the thought that Mang Tonyo wasn’t just a caretaker—he was someone who knew the dark secrets of the house, someone who had seen things he refused to speak about. Ben still held the iron poker in his hand, but now it didn’t feel like a weapon anymore. It felt useless, like it couldn’t protect them from something they couldn’t even see. “So, what now?” Lia asked softly, her voice almost disappearing in the large, empty entryway. “Do we… just pick rooms?” Marco, trying to stay calm, stepped forward and took control. “First, we need to make this place safe, or at least try. Ben, check all the windows and doors on the ground floor. Make sure they can be locked. Lia, you and Cheska look for the fuse box or anything that can

They found the old doll, and it seemed like it caused the strange noise. For a moment, the tension faded, but the fear didn’t go away.Cheska couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t just a coincidence. The doll’s cracked, empty eyes felt wrong—like it knew something, like it was silently blaming them. Even though it was just an object, it gave her chills. As they walked down the grand staircase, the house grew quiet again. But it wasn’t a peaceful silence. It felt heavy… like something was watching and waiting.“Well, that was anticlimactic,” Ben said, trying to sound relaxed, but his voice still shook a little. “It’s just a doll. Nothing to worry about.”Lia hugged herself, still uneasy. “I don’t know, Ben. It felt… intentional. Like something wanted us to notice it.”Marco, trying to stay practical, spoke up. “Whatever that was, we need to focus. We should figure out where to sleep—and check if there’s water or electricity. This place is dangerous in the dark.”Before anyone could
