Chapter 1

ผู้เขียน: Theresa
When I saw my mate, Luke's post on Instagram bragging about doing chores, I simply liked it.

I could feel the pack take a turn with gossip and whispers floating around.

That post seemed to mock me. Luke, an alpha who would not even help me wash dishes at home stood in an expensive suit pruning grapevines in the countryside.

He captioned his post; "A strong Alpha handles both pack affairs and chores at home."

Was this the inspection of the pack 's territory he claimed he will be doing when he left home this morning?

Something in me died looking at his face in the photo. Pain slowly spread through my heart. I took a deep breath to calm down. For some reason, my heart had calmed. I felt no anger or sorrow anymore. With a clear mind, I gave the post a like and turned off my phone.

Whatever was coming did not matter. I did not need to know. All I knew was that I was done. It was over.

After my phone had been off for a while, I finally put it back on and almost immediately received a call from Luke.

His voice was filled with irritation as he talked through the phone.

"Alice, we’re all from the same pack. Why are you throwing a shady like at Doris? She is not well off and is an omega. What is wrong with helping her out? You are a she-wolf from a big clan who has never faced danger, what do you know about what poor omega go through? Delete that like. Don’t make yourself a joke in front of our pack memebers. If you’re not embarrassed, I am!" he said.

I could not believe my ears. For a random she-wolf, Luke would through insults at me?

"Next holiday, I promise I’ll go with you to visit your parents in the mountains." Luke said.

Again with the next holiday promise. He promised this so many times but never kept it. I had long since given up hope on such promises.

Our bond breaking will soon be complete and I will no longer be his mate after the full moon day.

I did not even get a a chance to reply when Luke seemed to trip on something and ended the call.

I frowned, set the phone aside, and went back to doing the paper work for the pack festival.

But trouble seemed to find me even when I stay away. Suddenly, my phone was flooded with messages.

I checked my phone. It was the pack group chat. Doris had left a message for me there.

She posted a screenshot of my like on Instagram and dropped an angry voice note.

"Alice, I am sure I have not offended you. Why live this passive aggressive like? Are you meaning to mock me for being a weak omega? Luke who is the pack leader, and an Alpha even came down to help my family but all you do is push paperwork for the pack, never entering the forest, battles or dirtying your hands for one day. What kind of luna does that make you?"

The moment her voice not dropped, the chat exploded with judgemental people taking her side and throwing blame my way. For a like? I could not believe they were taking it this far.

As though the mob was not complete, even Luke himself stepped in and posted a message saying, "Alice, I demand that you apologize to Doris immediately. Or else, you will be removed from participating in any pack activity for one month!"

Apologize? For a like? He was making his bias clear. And at this moment, the pack was making it clear I was the outsider. No one stepped forward to take my side.

It was as though everyone had made a decision to turn against me. I was called several names. From Narrow minded to petty and their excuse? They say I discriminate against omegas.

A bitter laugh left my lips, but I did not bother to respond on the chat.

Maybe this was good. This incident could give Luke an excuse to remove me from the pack. After all, three months ago, he initiated the breaking of our bond to remove me as his mate.

  • Never Call Me Back   Chapter 8

I wasn't shocked when Luke's world came crashing down. He had been blinded by Doris's innocent act, and his own stupity had ultimately led to his downfall. Six months after our separation, I received a call from someone in Luke's pack claiming to represent the pack. His voice was laced with fatigue as he explained Luke's predicament. "Alice, Luke's in trouble. He's hoping you can help him." I was skeptical. "What kind of trouble?" The werewolf hesitated before revealing that Doris had used Luke's signed documents to sell over territory and land tabt belonged to he pack to other packs. This caused a lot of issues as the pack tried for get them back and have been in a territory war for a while, Luke has lost his place as the Alpha and is in need of my help. He said if I become the Luna again, they could make Luke the Alpha again and with my powerful clan, they could supress the other packs.I laughed coldly. "Why should I bail him out?" Beside, why would I help the pack again? The

I had blocked both him and Doris amd Luke must have found out, because he deliberately had a someone from his pack send me their recent photos. These photos were eve more intimate than the ones Doris used to post. It was laughable. One of them even showed the two in bathrobes, leaning close together on the couch. These looked to be deliberately taken.Luke had posted them himself on social media, publicly announcing his relationship with Doris. After sending the pictures, the she-wolf who sent it, left a message full of mockery. It read;"Your own man ran off with another woman. You've really hit rock bottom."But I felt nothing when I saw those photos. My wolf felt No anger or heartbreak. "What a waste of time," was all I thought. The territory I was in had beautiful sunset, I would rather be looking at.I didn’t reply. Just put away my phone and continued my journey.I spent 2 months travelling to many territories, camping with other packs. The scenery and stories, each one healing m

"Doris, can you move? just to be safe, we should take you to a healer,"H parents asked as they helped Luke support Doris our the door. All through this, not one of them looked at me again. It was as though I was invisible. You would think if I was the one at fault. That was fine. At least now they were gone, would be no one to disturb as I pack..I packed my suitcase and headed straight for the airport. My first destination: a quiet little coastal territory.I received a message from Luke just as the flight attendant reminded passengers to power off their phones. It read;"Doris’s fine. Let’s talk when you get home."I resolutely turned off my phone not forgetting to delete the message before that.I just wanted a good night sleep and those thought of starting a new journey filledme with energy.I found a hotel to eat after I arrived. But I had not stayed a day in the hotel when Luke actually tracked me down at the hotel and knocked on my door. When I had first heard the knock, I tho

His tone was as gentle; a constant habit of his. Every time he and Doris crossed the line, he would always use soft words like these to coax me.There was once when I couldn’t swallow my anger and dragged him to the temple, demanding that we break our bond immediately..That day, instead of getting angry, he was gentle as he held me, apologized. In a soft voice he promised to change.Thinking back, I was utterly foolish to actually believe he would change and give up the idea of breaking our bond.I couldn’t let go of these seven years of feelings and he had figured that out a long time ago.. Relying on my love, he tested how much I would tolerate. But I won’t look back this time. It was a really over.I was silent a while, causing him to think I was hesitant. Color returned to his face as he walked closer and said in a soft voice,"Alright, didn’t you always want me to come back to our den? I won’t leave these next few days. I’ll stay and keep you company…"A sneer escaped my lips an

It confused me when he didn’t breathe a sigh of relief as I had thought he would when he heard of our broken bond.Instead, he looked panicked, disbelief filling in his eyes as muttered; "No… That’s impossible… I never meant to really severe the bond with you…"Hearing Luke's words and seeing his reaction, Doris realized I had really broke my bond with Luke. Glee filled her eyes but she still put on a calm front, her voice laced with mockery."Well, at least you have some self-awareness. Splitting up is the best thing for both of you," she said.Luke on the other hand, did not seem relieved. He looked panicked."But since Luke didn’t look at the papers too closely, who knows if you tried to sneak something shady inside to betray the pack?" Doris asked. And suddenly, it all made sense. Luke was not panicking because I was no more his mate, he was afraid I had used this opportunity to betray the pack and have him sign something shady. To him, I was such a mate without integrity,, who cou

  • Never Call Me Back   Chapter 3

There was a time I dreamed of travelling the world with Luke. But he had responsibilities in his pack. He needed to stay in his territory a lot. He was always too busy to even go on vacation as mates. Everytime, I conceded to staying in the pack territory.I felt sorry for how hard he worked, so I stayed behind, working as his assistant for seven years, and never complained. But everything changed the moment Doris arrived. Luke, who had said was too busy, found time to take Doris traveling by pushing work into me.At first, I actually thought he was away on Pack affairs, until Doris began posting photos on social media. In every photo, they were smiling intimately, framed by famous landmarks. The captions were full of suggestive undertones.I felt like a fool. After being 'understanding' all these years, I only have room for him to treat me as he liked. In the photos Doris posted, he did all the things, he would never do at home for me. He who was a proud Alpha and would not lift a fi
