For a moment, everything was quiet and almost alarmingly still. Whitney felt like she was floating in space, among several thousand stars without any gravity pulling her downward. The tranquil feeling didn’t last long- as anxious commotion started trickling it’s way into her quiet bubble of existence. She then felt herself being gently lowered back to earth.
