As I made my way down the hallway towards Jesse's office, my heart was racing with excitement. Today was a day I had been looking forward to, the day we were finally going to have lunch together in his office. I couldn't help but smile as I balanced the carefully prepared lunch boxes in my hands. The morning had been a flood of activity as I put together the meal, wanting everything to be just right.

With each step, my anticipation grew, and I couldn't shake off the flutter of nerves that accompanied it. I knew it was a simple lunch, but it felt like a big step for us especially now that everything seemed fit in our favor. It was a chance to spend some quality time together outside of our usual routine, a chance to deepen our connection and to show the whole pack what we were as a couple.
