VIII - Beau

1703 (Beau Age 91)

After the whole fiasco from the ball Edward and I had travelled across the world, helping others like me, who needed an escape. We both had killed many people and I got to eat many hearts. We did that until we met Bridget Bishop. She was perfect for Edward, they were mates and then Bridget had to fake her death, when they accused her of witchcraft. I guess it was true. Though Banshees were harbingers of death, they also were skilled Witches, but she was a good one. Edward was still in Salem, pretending to be human, but he had aquired a white cat, who was really Bridget but the town loved her in this form, because she wasn't a black cat and that they didn't know she was Bridget.

Marlowe and I were in Blackbeards cabin, talking with him about possible places to go, when I got a vision.

"North Carolina 13 years from now, Teach and Marlowe" I said, looking at them. "Until then we just sail wherever, doing whatever. Remember only bad people, even if others might not know."

We didn't tell the rest of the crew until after we decided to stay in Rome for awhile. Now if you looked in your history books, you won't find anything about Blackbeard being in Rome. We had used alias's so only those were ever recorded in. We also knew that Edward Teach, was a Djinn that was stuck in a time long before he was born but I knew he would disappear from this time in 15 years. I just didn't tell him, I knew I would have to tell the crew at some point though. Djinn were unpradictable, never knowing what century they would appear. They wouldn't get to stay in a time period until they met their mate.

I spent the next few months going through visions that I had to see if there was anything that would help me locate Teach's mate, but there was nothing yet. Months at sea though without a proper meal was making me tired and lethargic, I did my best to hide it from everyone but I knew they were beginning to suspect.

I was sleeping when I awoke to Marlowe telling me we stopped at the port in some city. He told me to go back to sleep and that one of the crew would stay with me, as they went to go get supplies. I just nodded before I fell back to sleep. I was awoken hours later when I smelt blood, very bad blood. I walked out when I saw a man that I knew worked with Thomas, he was fighting with Teach and some of the crew. They wouldn't last against a Vampire of his age.

Richard, the Vampire was the first to notice me. He let out a snarl.

"Finally found you, you fucking bitch!" He snarled, before he ran at me, slamming me against the wall to the captains quarters. "Thomas is pissed with that trick you pulled."

I just glared at him as tendrils of shadows grabbed him, and yanked him off me. I flicked my wrist and they forced him to his knees.

"I wasn't the one who pulled the trick," I told him. "It's a good thing you won't be able to see your mate again, and it's also good for her. She'll be free of the pain you've caused her everyday."

I then shifted and ripped out his throat, before I began clawing at his chest till I got to his heart. I shifted back as I ripped it out of his chest. I bowed my head down at the deck.

"Protect his mate and may he get what he deserves in hell." I muttered, before I sat back up and took a bite out of his heart.

I was still eating it, when Marlowe and the rest of the crew came back with crates. I could smell blood coming from one. Pigs blood. I ate the last of the heart and stood up.

"I suggest you good Vampires drink what blood he has left, so the Wendigo and Djinn can eat his flesh." I saod, before I walked back to Teach's quarters and went back to sleep.

Teach always slept in his lamp, so I got to sleep in the bed he had in his quarters. Always the gentleman, even if sometimes he wasn't portrayed that way. I was going to miss him, I knew we all were.
