“No!” Louis shouts.

I peel my eyes open to find Louis standing in front of Felix, his arms outstretched to protect me.

“What?” Uncle Felix blinks. Confusion written all over his face.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Louis says. “Don’t even think about hurting her.”

“Louis, what are you doing?” Uncles Felix asks calmly.

“Let her go,” Louis’ voice is hoarse.

“You are in love with her,” Uncle Felix chuckles. “This is rather unfortunate,” he sighs. “She will never return your feelings. I can make her remember...”

“Shut up!” Louis interjects.

“If you insist on being on their side, I will have to kill you too.” He groans in frustration. “Look at the decisions you are forcing me to make.”

The sword is dropped on the floor, it’s clanging sound screaming in my ears. Louis and Uncle Felix are fighting. It’s all in a flash, them moving at a vampire speed and Louis trying to stop my uncle from getting hold of the sword on the floor.
