Chapter 14: Morea and her ridiculousness

It was a sunny morning, and Margaretha had just finished taking Lacie out for her morning stroll, just like Catrina usually did to prevent the little girl from being cranky.

Since Catrina didn't come home, Lacie kept asking where her mom was. Why isn't she home? and so on.

After Margaretha had given Lacie breakfast, she tucked the toddler into bed.

"I've made up my mind. I'm going to go there and bring Cat back," Theo declared that morning as they chowed down on breakfast together in the apartment.

"What?!" Margaretha couldn't contain her shock.

She was aware that he cared deeply for Cat, but Theo was a very impulsive person when it came to making decisions.

Margaretha didn't want that to get them both into more trouble.

"I'll go to Blackthorn Pack to bring Catrina back from that son of a bitch." Theo gnashed his teeth.

"If you go there alone, you won't stand a chance of making it out alive, let alone getting Cat."

"You think I can't beat Carlo?"
