Self Realization

I clench my fists as I watch her walk away. I walk back and I sit on the bed trying to keep still. I want to walk to her. I want to call for her.

But something in me is tired of everything repeating itself all over again.

“What if I decide to give this thing I feel a chance? Would it break me?” I ask no one in particular. I pass my fingers through my hair unable to believe I am even giving this a thought.

I walk to my mirror to see myself.
