Prologue
"Why are you doing this to me?" Everly asks while tears streaming down her face.
"Don't forget who you are talking with. I am your husband and I can do whatever I want." Giovanni replies harshly."But I am hurting. Can't you see that? I am a human being after all." Everly says trying to understand why she is getting punished."You are only an object for me. Nothing more than that. Now, stop crying and clean my bedroom. I have a date tonight and then some fun to do." Giovanni replies nonchalantly not caring that how much his words are hurting poor Everly."Please just kill me, it's better than seeing you with different women." Everly whispers but Giovanni hears it clearly which makes him happy to know that he is accomplishing the things he wants."I can fulfill at least one of your wish and don't worry this wish of yours is definitely my favorite one. But not so soon sweetheart. The game has just started so just let's have some fun first." Giovanni remarks with a cruel smile which sends a shiver down Everly's spine."But at least tell me what have I done to make you hate so much?" Everly asks while heavy sobs rack her body."Everything will be known in due time but till then let me have my fun." Giovanni replies with a sinister look."Then I am also promising you that I will prove you wrong." Everly lets out while wiping her tears furiously."And how will you do that?" Giovanni asks mockingly."By loving you." Everly answers looking straight into her husband's eyes.
"You are so delusional, sweetheart. I am not going to fall for your charms." Giovanni remarks.
"I am not delusional. Whatever I am saying is the truth, I can see in your eyes that you are hungry for love. You may show that you only care about money and sex. But in reality, your heart wants to be loved and believe me, no one will love you the way I do." Everly answers not backing out this time.
"Then lets the real game begin. I will break you so badly that you will forget how to love." Giovanni challenges."And I will love you so deeply that you will regret causing pain to me."
