Chapter 40

I held the dress up against my body, already loving the feel of it. The dress was strapless, the bust was black that shone in the light. It had one shoulder, but the shoulder was the same as the flowy satin green skirt. The dress had a huge split on one side, the rest of the skirt was long, and it had a slight train. 

My eyes fell on two smaller boxes, one was creamish in colour and the other one was pink in colour. 

I first opened the creamish box and found a small chain and a bracelet in it. The chain was delicate, and I was scared that it would break in my hands, but surprisingly it was strong too. The bracelet was a simple silver bracelet with a small stone in the centre. I just hoped that it wasn’t a real stone. 

I opened the next box and gasped. I could feel the heat rushing to my face and turning it bright right. I gingerly lifted the lace lingerie that was of the same emerald green as the dress. Why did he have to buy me lingerie too
