Ch 84 - Reunite

ANGELINA

I paid for the cheese and we headed out. He’d appeared on earth from the Underworld as he put it, so we were taking my car back. He sat with Thaddeus in the back while I drove. I was beyond happy seeing them bond, and even though Thaddeus was speaking in baby language, my father just entertained him, engaging him in a conversation. He wasn’t the Dark Lord at all at the moment.

He was my son’s grandfather.

I parked the car in the driveway and we made our way into the house. He handed Thaddeus back because we both suspected that mom might jump him after getting over the shock of seeing him. All conversation seized as the people in the room took him in. I noticed that he made his scent and aura known, unlike at the grocery store. They were all shocked and immediately had their defences up as I held his hand. Silas looked angry more than anything.

“He might want to kill me at first with the knowledge I’ve recently gained when it comes to his opinion of me.”

My father’s words rung
