"This is Noah?" Trey spoke, recognizing that he felt my presence though he wasn't looking my way yet because he was still focused on the photo.

I looked at the said picture frame and gently nodded. "Yeah. That's him."

His gaze finally found my eyes as he unbelievably shook his head. "I can't believe you were right when you said I really looked like him."

I smiled, tilted my head, and walked my way to the couch. "Well, at least now, you know I wasn't lying."

He followed me.

I put the food tray on the mini table and gave Tony his cat food.

I sat beside Trey.

He was looking around the quiet house, appearing to be searching for something or maybe someone…

When his eyes found mine, he finally spoke his mind. "Where's your mom? Isn't she around? Are you living alone?"

I sighed. That suddenly made me feel a bit heavy.

"I've been living by myself in this house for years now. Thank God I found Tony and I no longer have to be alone," I smiled weakly as I glanced at Tony who was enjoying his foo
