Brian sat at one corner at the company dinner, he was focused on the task at hand. He was in the middle of a critical project and couldn't afford any distractions. But when his phone rang, he knew he had to answer it. It was his best friend's Omega Lucas, calling.

"Hey, Lucas, what's up? Is everything alright?" Brian asked, trying to sound calm.

"It's Ray," Lucas said, his voice laced with worry.

"He's having a panic attack. Brian's world came crashing down around him. His omega, Ray, was his everything, and the thought of him suffering was unbearable. Brian's heart skipped a beat.

"We're at the entrance of the event," Liam replied.

"I don't know what to do, Brian.

He can't breathe." Brian could hear the desperation in Lucas's voice. He knew he had to act fast.

"I'm on my way," he said, already grabbing pushing the documents into Liam's hand while the latter told him to go fast. He rushed to Ray's side, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.
