LOGIN"She left New York to which city?" Edward asked. "I mean, why would she be leaving New York?"
"I wouldn't know that," Christopher said immediately, raising his hands up.
Edward turned to Donald.
"Me neither, but there is a rumor on the social media that she was travelling to Singapore, although the source isn't verified," Donald spoke.
"To Singapore?" Edward smirked.
Donald and Christopher exchanged a glance.
"Don't tell me you are going to go after her to Singapore," Christopher voiced out in curiosity.
"Of course not," Edward answered. "Why should I do that? Ladies come after me, not the other way round, or do you guys think I am desperate?" He shot.
"Of course not," Donald and Christopher said in unison.
"So what are your plans?" Donald asked.
"Switch plans, of course. Instead of faking a marriage certificate like the last time, I will go for a three-year marriage contract," Edward answered.
"What about the baby?" Christopher's amused voice came.
"Shut up, Christopher," Edward snapped. "The first thing is to get the bride first, a bride that would agree to all my conditions. That would be enough to make my mom calm down for the next one year," Edward spoke with a smile of satisfaction.
"You are really a legend at this, Edward. So since Miss Emily is off the picture now, who is going to be the lucky girl to be Mrs Yates?" Donald asked.
"Not really Mrs Yates," Christopher chimed in. "We should say, Mrs Yates only in paperwork."
The three of them burst out into laughter.
"That got me really hard," Donald laughed.
"You both are a dumbass hole," Edward laughed harder.
The room temperature finally settled in.
"So, Edy," Donald sat up from the bar couch, resting his hands on his thigh on a serious note. "Since Miss Emily is out of the state, you actually lost the bet."
"Donald, you should really let him be, unless he would bite you," Christopher laughed. "Edward's company fit go bankrupt any time soon."
Edward smirked.
"That is never going to happen," Edward claimed proudly. "I have not seen that human capable of rendering me broke at this point," his proud voice came.
"But Donald, don't be in a rush. The one week isn't off yet."
"I was just reminding you," Donald answered.
"Don't mind him, Edy, you know how obsessed this son of the governor is with money," Christopher chimed in.
"Who doesn't love money?" Donald's voice came.
"Anyone that is not Christopher," Edward answered and together with Donald they laughed out.
"I know I am the most broke ass among this group and I am not going to drag it with my two rich ass friends," Christopher sounded unbothered.
"Don't make it sound that bad, Christopher, after all you are the son of a senator. It's not that bad," Donald tapped his shoulder.
The three lifted up their glasses filled with beer. "Cheers to our years of friendship," and they all gulped it down at once.
"I can't believe that we were able to make it past kindergarten stage," Donald commented.
"I really remember, Christopher was good at urinating on himself despite being four," Edward added.
Their chuckles were swallowed by the dark night.

Emily arrived at Singapore after a long flight and was exhausted after checking into her room.
The air in Singapore hit different from that in New York. And she really felt so relieved of every stress on her shoulders.
She wondered what her parents' reaction would be when they finally found out that she had run away from New York.
It would be silly if they sent thugs to drag her back home just like old times. She would actually call them stupid if they thought she would be marrying Mr Yates in Sandra's place.
She wanted a happy and loving marriage, not some marriage with a freak.
She rested on her soft foam, waiting for sleep to swallow her.
And gosh, the morning came faster than she had ever imagined, and to be very honest she doesn't want to wake up already.
She was still exhausted and needed her body to relax and heal from the long trip.
Her eyes shut open at once, and looking at the clock which hung on the wall just in front of her, she sprang out of the bed and rushed to her unboxed box.
Although it's crazy and not like her, she managed to find the perfect outfit without much stress.
By the time she was all dressed up, it was already six thirty AM by the clock.
She grabbed her headset and phone and then her notepad, heading to the door. She shook her head in disapproval, looking at the whole lot on her hands.
She walked back inside the room and grabbed her brown purse, placing every item she felt that was important inside it before rushing.
She arrived at the express road and jogged continuously, her eyes wandering about and refusing to stay in one place.
She sighed on many occasions as she jogged, her body becoming restless. And after about an hour of waiting for nothing, she proceeded to the gym house nearby.
But disappointment soon washed over her immediately. Her eyes trailing at each person present at the gym house.
"What are you looking for, ma?" The gym instructor asked.
"Nothing," Emily answered, still looking around.
"Are you sure it is nothing? I can really help you out if you don't mind," he smiled at her.
"Actually, I was wondering if Mr Williams is not coming for today's session?" She rubbed her hands awkwardly at the back of her neck.
The gym instructor arched a brow.
"Just asking, he is a good friend of mine," Emily added immediately.
"Then why don't you call him instead?" The gym instructor asked.
"You are right, I just didn't see any reason to if I could just ask you, or don't you believe me?" She blinked sweetly at him.
The gym instructor took a good look at her. "She doesn't look bad to be close to Mr Williams, and she is pretty too," he thought.
"It's just that we don't give out information about our clients here. I'm sorry, I can't be of help."
Emily smiled. "It's nothing, maybe I should call him instead," she said, walking away.
She collapsed on the floor inside her room immediately she stepped in. "Gosh... She was not used to this. Why would she need to gym whereas she is naturally fit? This is so exhausting."
She pulled out her phone.
"I guess you are no longer interested in this easy job, Nichol. Why didn't you tell me that Adrian changed his schedule? And why isn't he at the gym? That has never happened, is he sick?" She asked all at once.
"She left New York to which city?" Edward asked. "I mean, why would she be leaving New York?""I wouldn't know that," Christopher said immediately, raising his hands up.Edward turned to Donald."Me neither, but there is a rumor on the social media that she was travelling to Singapore, although the source isn't verified," Donald spoke."To Singapore?" Edward smirked.Donald and Christopher exchanged a glance."Don't tell me you are going to go after her to Singapore," Christopher voiced out in curiosity.
Edward walked inside his villa with a smile after another night of smuggling at the club."Mom," he uttered in shock, seeing his mom sitting on the cushion, his life almost left him."What are you doing here, Mom, instead of being at your husband's mansion?""You look scared," Old Mrs Yates pointed out."You are funny, Mom," Edward gave out an awkward laugh. "You are in my house, so why should I be scared?" He stood his ground.Mrs Yates stood and walked to him, touching his hair gently."You are really scaring me now, Mom," Edward fidgeted."I just missed you, and at the same time I really want to have a conversation with you," she said with a calm voice, retreating her hands."What do you want to talk about, Mom? Don't worry, if you need anything, you can always ask the maids and they will get it for you.""Which maids are you talking about? Because right now I am not seeing any of them."Yes, indeed, something really felt off. The maids are always lined up waiting for him to come b
"I am never going to be Mr Yates' wife, Mom. Dad," Sandra was at the peak of tears."If I could really do it, I would have done it, but going into the Yates family is just like committing suicide.I am your daughter and heir to the company, my life is worth gold. Emily is really in the perfect fit to go into the marriage alliance with the Yates. She is bold and is familiar with different men, so I am sure she will know how to keep the dog in place.I am not trying to badmouth my sister, but I am really scared, Dad.""Calm down, Sandra, I won't be marrying you off to the Yates," Mr Hanthon spoke and then turned to his wife. "Why isn't Emily here yet? Didn't I ask you to go get her?If she refuses to come by herself, we will then hire street thugs to drag her here. She knows how to play around with men but doesn't know how to pay respect to her family.I really wonder if she is my daughter or a street rag picked from the hospital. She can't learn from her younger sister and be reserved
"I think it's her, what is she doing in a place like this" Christopher asked surprised."Who is that?" Edward lazily asked unbothered by whosoever that they were talking about."Emily Parker, you are so familiar with girls dude how come you haven't heard of her Edward? She is really a full package with a pretty face" Donald answered. She had dated a lot of men since her twenties, although they are so many rumors around it that she had always dated for money and ends up leaving her prey once she had sucked them dry.Edward finally opened his eyes giving the lady beside him a signal to stop. "Interesting" he said and what else?"Don't tell me you already have your eyes on her Edward, I don't think you would stand a chance. After hearing that she was into rich heirs who was ready to spend endlessly on her, I decided to give a shot but she didn't spare me a glance talk more of giving me a rejection " Donald explained.Edward scoffed. "So she rejected you ?" He asked to confirm."I am sure
The doorbell rang, jolting Emily off the couch."Who is that? So early in the morning, I have already retired. Can't I really have a moment of peace? I wasn't the one that asked you guys to cheat on your partners. What does that have to do with me, huh? I was only doing my job," she rolled on the floor, whining. She ran her hand roughly through her hair in frustration.Everyone thought that Miss Emily Parker really had the perfect life, but what they didn't know was that there was nothing like a perfect life. They envied her but never knew that there was always a price she had to pay.She stood and walked to the computer screen and, seeing those familiar faces standing outside her door, her hands hit her forehead, resetting her brain. She immediately turned to her room and rushed back, making sure to clear every trace of alcohol or junk at sight and re-arranging her couch, tossing the remaining fried chicken and popcorn under her couch in a hurry. She didn't forget to arrange her hair
"Emily Parker, I promise you, you won't get away with this," Tony swore furiously after Emily had broken up with him, ripping him dry out of his pocket.Days ago they were really cool and were literally the best couple in town. Going on different vacations and having so much fun.Tony had actually thought that he had found the love of his life this time around and was grateful he had broken up with his three-year girlfriend. How would he have known that he had only jumped into fire?He could only watch in pain and in vengeance as his empire built on years of hard work collapsed before him in debt. He was really foolish trying to impress a woman he didn't even know her origin or where she came from. The only thing he could remember was meeting her at a club that night. Her elegance was able to draw him in that he lost his mind. She looked so divinely beautiful, like an angel that God designed specially for him and gave to him.But now, not only had she left him in his crisis, she had c
