Chapter 5

I wasn't able to move an inch and was cared for three days after having an intercourse with that beast of a man. I had a slight fever tapos feeling ata ng lalaking 'to mamatay na ako kung makareact. He treated me so gently contrary to how he did to me during our intimate activity. I bet no one could ever associate him with the mad man who claimed me that night.

Kylian, the man I slept with, took care of me within those days maybe out of guilt because of how unruly he was. The moment I woke up his face flashed with worries was the first thing I saw. It was painful to look at and everytime he would look at me like he wanted to tell me something. Naalala ko bigla yung kulay ng mga mata niya before I lose consciousness. It was a beautiful shade of amber which emphasize his perfectly sculpted face! Naiintriga tuloy ako at gusto kong tanungin if he used contacts.

I instantly dismissed those thoughts and inisip nalang na maybe he's using one. Common na kaya magsuot no'n. Well, I'm just grateful that luckily my condition wasn't something grave like losing too much blood and getting admitted.

Living with a guy like him wasn't that bad. Pero alam kong this is just a temporary bliss. After my recovery I need to go back to my real life and get ready to live with a bastard for the rest of my life.

I look around the room, it wasn't small but it wasn't also big. Siguro this is where he lives. I could smell his scent from the pillows and quilt. The room is designed in a minimalist style painted in black and white which made it look clean. It gives off a homey feeling and well-suited for a small family. It's too far from the life I used to live.

When I woke up, ito na agad ang bumungad sa'kin. Not the room we booked and did the censored activities.

I also checked on my phone and it was filled with calls and messages. Mostly asking where the hell I am. Simon threatened me to get my shit straight telling me who the man I was with in a bar. He told me to come home straight away. I guess he paid someone to search for me but they didn't do a good job since he still hasn't found where I am.

Simon has few screw loose. I'm don't know what will happen to Kylian if he found out who he is. He'd definitely do everything just to protect his family's prestige.

My senses got instantly filled in delight nang makita ko siyang hawak ang isang tray with a couple of plates. They're just simple dishes na niluto niya and it can't be compared to the luxurious meals I had in the mansion but it was oddly satisfying. It didn't come with those exaggerated ingredients and platings, it was just a simple hearty meal.

"Thank you"

I started eating and he started staring. This is one of the things I hated about him. Sino bang hindi makuconscious kapag tinitigan ka habang kumakain?

Tumikhim ako to break the ice and tumingin sa kanya.

"Did you get the thing I ask you to buy?"

After I said that I saw his eyes tense but still inabot niya sakin ang isang supot. There it is. Just the I need.

I quickly finished my meal and agad naman niya akong inabutan ng tubig. Ngunit nang akin 'tong abutin ay hindi agad siya bumitaw.

"Do you have to do it? I can take responsibility"

Napatigil ako nang marinig ko 'yon pero agad din akong nakabawi at nginitian siya.Napailing ako at nilabas nang tuluyan sa karton ang pinabili kong contraceptives.

"It's just a one time thing so don't sweat it."

I took the glass of water from his hand at ininom yung pills. Napatingin ako sa aking tiyan at bahagya itong hinaplos. There shouldn't be a problem now. After this, I will go back and we will never see each other again. There's no point in having second thoughts and letting something develop in me.

"I'm about to get married." I confessed. "I just used you to explore something wild before getting tied."

Hindi ko kailangan ikwento sa kanya ang buong buhay ko. I don't want to be pitied just because a bastard cheat on me. Isa pa, I can't let him cling unto me just because may nangyari sa amin.

To my utmost surprise, he look at me fiercely and pinned me down. Natapon ang mga plato sa higaan pero hindi niya iyon pinansin at matalim lamang akong tinignan.

"Are you rejecting me?" He looks angry and... hurt? He can't be lovestruck fool, right? Was it his first time kaya emotional siya masyado? No way! He's too good to be a virgin. Isa pa, hindi naman 'yon halata unlike sa babae, 'di ba? He's acting so weird. Besides there's no future for us!

"I can give you money to compensate you. Just say a word." I tried my best to reason out to him. Hindi ba ganito naman halos kaya ayaw bumitaw ng mga nakafling mo either they want your body or your money.

"I don't need your goddamn money! I want you to be with me..."

I felt his tears fell on my cheeks. We are looking eye to eye and in that moment, hindi ako pwedeng magkamali. His eyes flickered and I saw it change. His irises changed into an amber color with a tint of gold.

Hindi ko mapigilang abutin ito gamit ang aking kamay. It was beautiful... He's beautiful. I wanted to stay in that moment and memorize every bit of his face. Selene, wake up!

I look away.

"Sorry..."

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ang bigat sa dibdib nang sabihin ko 'yon. Oo, may nangyari na sa amin but we don't even know each other. Ni hindi pa kami ganun nagkakasama ng matagal. Is it possible to develop your feelings with someone that quick?

I already accepted my fate to be with Yohan since I met him when I was seven. I vowed to be his even if I didn't love him to the point of having butterflies in the stomach when I was with him. My heart would flutter for a moment and that's it. My feelings were nurtured for so many years.

But meeting this guy, kahit na we started in an unfortunate way feeling ko I was swept by a storm. And I know it will only leave my ship wrecked if I let it go on.

Kylian growled at them and pounce at the tall woman infront. Pero bago pa niya maabot ang babae ay sinalubong siya ng kamao ng lalaking may malaking peklat sa mukha.

He caught Kylian and throw him on the wall.

"You've gone weak!" The man look at him in disgust. He pulled Kylian up habang hawak niya ito sa leeg. He raised his other hand and slowly I his nails grow longer and shaper. Napuno ang kanyang braso bigla ng balahibo.

Is this really happening? That guy... Is he even a human?

I swear that time I could hear my heart ready to burst out of my chest. I want to keep being rational but how am I supposed to process this?

I saw Kylian grow his fucking canine and just like the guy his nails grew sharp digging them unto the guys hand trying his best to make him unhand him. Fucking hell! What's happening with the world?

"What do we have here?"

In a blink of an eye the girl was standing infront of me and my heart literally skipped a beat.
