On the other hand, Wafa was in the college cafeteria area. A glass of cold coffee was in her hand, and the same mischievous smile was still on her face. The boys and girls around her kept looking at her because, the moment she had arrived, she had created chaos throughout the entire college.

Next chapter….

A girl from her class slowly walked up to her and said, “Are you crazy? Saying things like that in front of Professor Aksh? Do you even know who he is?”

Wafa took a sip of her coffee and smiled slightly. “Who is he? Some king? Some god? Or just a man with an overinflated ego? And what exactly did I say? I only spoke the truth. If he can’t handle the truth, then he should leave the classroom.”

The girl stared at her with wide eyes. She said quietly, “Do you know what his background is? He’s a Malhotra…”

She had barely said that when Wafa cut her off and said, “Why should I care about his background? I came here to study, not to be anyone’s slave. And stop trying to scare me with his name.”

Just then, a boy came running up to Wafa and said, “Are you Wafa Agrawal?”

Wafa nodded her head.

The boy lowered his voice and said, “You’ve practically prepared a noose for yourself. Do you know that the entire college is talking about you? And after what happened with Professor Aksh Malhotra… he’s having your admission reviewed.”

Wafa smiled and said, “Let him. What am I, some fraud?”

The boy quickly replied, “Come on, this is serious. He could get you suspended, or do something else, like file a police complaint or…”

Wafa laughed and said, “So the professor is trying to scare me? Good. Let the game begin.”

On the other side, Aksh was on a phone call. Grinding his teeth, he said, “What do you mean I have to handle her? I’m not going to handle her.”

After hearing the voice on the other end, his expression turned completely rigid. He ended the call and slammed his phone onto the desk.

“Wafa Agrawal,” he said coldly, “if you’re going to stay here, then fine. You’ll have to face me. Aksh Malhotra.”

Meanwhile, Wafa was still in the cafeteria when a peon walked up to her and said, “Wafa Agrawal, Professor Malhotra has called you to his cabin.”

Wafa smiled and said, “What’s the matter? The professor wants to see me? Well, I suppose a meeting is in order.”

With that, she walked straight toward Aksh’s cabin.

Aksh was sitting calmly in his chair. The atmosphere inside the cabin was completely different. It wasn’t brightly lit; only a single dim light was on, and he had his head resting against the back of his chair.

Just then, the cabin door opened, and Wafa walked in without knocking.

Aksh looked at her. She was standing at the doorway with a smile on her face.

He didn’t react.

Wafa walked straight over and sat down in the chair across from him.

Aksh rose from his seat and slowly walked toward the door. Reaching it, he locked it.

Wafa noticed everything, but she didn’t react at all.

By now, Aksh had stepped so close to Wafa that there was barely any distance between them. In a low, intimate voice, he said, “Wafa Agrawal, you talk a little too much. You don’t seem to know how to speak to your professor, do you?”

Wafa slowly turned her gaze toward him. He was standing dangerously close to her face. She looked at him and replied softly, “I know very well how to speak to a professor. Now, if you expect me to respect you, then you should be worthy of that respect. Everyone knows about your past. The entire college talks about you. Knowing all of that, you still expect me to respect you? Sorry to say, Professor, but I won’t.”

Aksh listened to her quietly. He leaned slightly closer to her ear and said in a low voice, “If you won’t give me respect, then I’ll have to take it by force. Because I didn’t like the way you spoke to me today. And you have no idea who Professor Aksh Malhotra really is.”

As he said that, he was standing incredibly close to her. Wafa kept looking at him, and Aksh was leaning near her ear. In a low voice, he said, “You know very well that I have a bad reputation in this college, right? And right now, you’re in my cabin. The door is locked from the inside. So think about all the things I could do to you. And guess what? No one can do a thing to me.”

After saying this, he paused for a few moments. There was a strange smile playing on his lips.

He spoke again, “If anyone could actually do anything to me, I would have been out of this college by now. You should understand that. And you’re picking a fight with me. Just imagine what I could do to you, Wafa Agrawal.”

Wafa’s hands tightened around the handles of the chair as she glared angrily at Aksh.

Aksh then spoke softly, “Your anger is useless. Keep it to yourself. And yes, if I hear another curse and abusive words coming out of your mouth, things won’t end well for you.”

Wafa quickly shot back, “What will you do? Go ahead, tell me. I want to know just how low you’re capable of sinking.”

Aksh stepped closer to her face and looked straight into her eyes. His gaze drifted to Wafa’s lips, which were slightly moist. She was chewing gum, and it had left a faint sheen on her lips.

Wafa suddenly caught her lower lip between her teeth and looked at him. “Do you really think that by intimidating me and saying things like this, you’ll be able to silence me?” she said. “Absolutely not.”

Aksh let out a soft laugh. It wasn’t a normal laugh. He placed one hand on the chair beside Wafa’s head and said, “Fear? No, baby. I’m not trying to scare you. Not at all.”

As he said that, he leaned closer to her ear, so close that the tip of his nose brushed against it. In a deep, cold voice, he whispered, “I’m just reminding you. I’m reminding you who the boss is here… and whose rules everyone follows. By the way, you came into my cabin without permission, didn’t you?”

Saying that, he looked at Wafa with a sideways glance.

Wafa tried to lean her head back, but the chair’s headrest gave her no room to move. The back of her head hit the headrest, leaving her unable to retreat any further.

She quickly said, “I already told you, I’m not going to give you any respect. And if you were the one who called me here, then I didn’t need anyone’s permission to come in.”

As she spoke, she kept glaring at him, casually chewing her gum every now and then.

Aksh placed his hand on her jaw, his thumb hovering dangerously close to her lower lip. In a firm, commanding tone, he said, “Take the gum out.”

The way she was chewing it was beginning to irritate him. His gaze kept returning to Wafa’s lips again and again.

Wafa gave no reply and didn’t react at all.

Aksh’s voice turned colder and harsher. “Are you taking it out, or should I do it myself?”

Wafa’s eyes narrowed. She pushed the gum to one side of her mouth with her tongue and said, “Try it. Then I’ll show you what happens if you even make the mistake of trying something like that.”

Cutting her off, Aksh said, “Then what?”

As he spoke, he placed his thumb against Wafa’s lower lip, applying just enough pressure to make it press inward slightly.

“You can’t do anything,” he said. “And listen to me carefully. My rules apply here. Rule number one, Wafa Agrawal—when I say something, it is obeyed. And if you keep running that mouth of yours, I’ll give you a punishment you’ll never forget.”

After saying that, he paused for a moment and studied her face carefully.

Then, in a low voice, he said, “And believe me, I enjoy giving punishment.”

Hearing the coldness in his voice, Wafa was frightened for a brief moment.

Aksh let out a quiet laugh and said, “Your heartbeat is making a lot of noise. Is it because of anger… or something else?”
