Conrad's POV

I drove towards my office after dropping Atasha off at the hospital.

The moment I stepped inside my office, I immediately went to my secretary to check my schedule. I had a dinner meeting later, so I informed Atasha that I wouldn't be home early.

Coming home late seemed to be my routine for this month and possibly the following month. I had to work extra hard to regain everything that the company had lost.

I started signing the documents and lost track of time. My secretary brought me lunch, so I took a quick break and called Atasha while I ate.

After a few rings, she answered the call.

"Have you had your lunch?" I asked, hearing the twins in the background.

"Yeah, we're at a restaurant right now having our lunch. I'm with the twins. Do you want to talk to them?" she asked.

"Yes, please," I said, and after a few seconds, I heard Alison's voice fill my ears.
