Chapter 9

Atasha's POV

Conrad's looked at me blankly then after a while, he shook his head.

"I feel satisfied Atasha," he responded while looking into my eyes directly.

"You're evil," I uttered with disgust in my voice.

"I was raised that way," he responded firmly then after a while he let out a deep breath.

"That doesn't justify your actions, Conrad," I responded but he just smiled.

"I am not justifying my heinous acts Atasha all I am saying is you can't change me," he firmly uttered then turned around and stepped inside his unit.

I watched his back and after that, I forced myself to walk inside his place.

I walked towards my room and chose to ignore him rather than have another argument. I don't want to waste my time arguing with him. I have seen too much today.

I thought I am brave enough to face his world but it turns out that I was wrong.

I lay on my bed and then stare at the ceiling after a while I felt my eyelids getting heavy.

I don't know what exact time did I fall asleep but I woke up
