Chapter 4: I want to go home

Selene opened her eyes and looked at the bathtub, but she couldn't find the King. She didn't have time to look at the beautiful room and the gemstones on the wall. She dashed towards the door in a speed of light.

Selene tried to unlock the door, but she couldn't, despite pulling the handle with every ounce of strength in her.

Suddenly, the doorknob and the door were pushed open. Selene moved back to at least hide from the person but the figure had already come in.

Selene saw Lady Isabella walk in, clad in a short night dress that accentuated her figure. Selene could see the tips of her breasts poking out of the cloth, and she smelled of roses. Selene bowed her head as the woman gave her a dirty look.

“Are you one of the sluts that the King beds? Where is the king?" Isabella asked the strange woman in the beautiful clothes.

Isabella could see the girl was not a maid because she wore a fancy dress.

“I'm not a slut, my queen," Selene interjected with gritted teeth, as she couldn't take more insults today.

“This woman is supposed to know her place.” Selene thought as she averted her gaze from her.

Isabella smiled at her comment and walked inside the room to sit on the bed. She crossed her legs as her thighs became exposed.

“Why not leave the room then? You are…" Whatever Isabella was going to say was cut short when she saw Rayne walking towards her in his full glory.

He wore long pants that hung low around his waist, while his upper body was exposed.

Selene found herself following Isabella's line of sight to see the Alpha King walking towards them as water dripped down his white bronze skin.

His hair was disheveled, his taut muscles and six-packs were exposed, and his muscles twitched as he took every step.

Isabella walked towards him, and they both met halfway. Selene watched the most shocking scene of her life as Isabella raised her legs by standing on her tiptoes and kissed the Alpha King on the lips.

“I miss your touch,” Isabella whispered against his lips.

Selene couldn't tear her gaze away from the two people kissing in her presence. Her heart thudded in her chest in pain, and she wondered how the king could be so cruel.

Selene knew the king was not ready to let her go, and yet he wanted to make life miserable for her.

Rayne kissed Isabella roughly on the lips before the door opened, and one of the guards came in. Rayne get away from Isabella embrace and take few steps away from Isabella's side.

“Wash her up and have her stay in one of the rooms," Rayne declared to the guards as he walked towards the dressing table.

"Why can't you just let me go?" Selene asked, as the guard captured her and took her out of the room.

“I want to go home!" She yelled as the door shut behind her.

Rayne couldn't tore his gaze away from Selene until the door shut behind her.

He is angry at himself because it seems both his advisor and the moon goddess were playing tricks on him.

He has been searching for his fated mate after he was crown the King of Eldoria.

An Alpha king without a mate is bound to leave the throne after two years with no mate from the moon goddess. He was told my the seers that his fated mate will be a strong woman with a Luna wolf but now, it seems they were wrong.

His plan was to make Isabella his Luna but who knew he will found his mate today.

“I'm not regretting it. it's for the better after all" Rayne thought in the quiet room.

But Rayne still recollects the way she smell when he got to the hall.

He couldn't forget the way Selene was lost in the music and her world. The way she swayed her hips to the beat of the music. Her long brown hair dancing around her as she shook her head, smiling.

“I must be running mad" Rayne thought, brushing his wet hair with the back of his hands.

Isabella walked towards Rayne and wrapped her hand around his waist.

“Who is that woman?" Isabella asked with curiosity as she gently rubbed his back with her hands.

“My new amusement," Rayne replied curtly as he turned to face her.

“But she doesn't look like any of the palace maids. Where is she from?" Isabella asked seductively as she tiptoed to peck his lips.

“You don't have to bother yourself with her Isabella. You will be crowned Luna tomorrow. You should start getting yourself prepared."

“I know, but I miss you. My body craves your touch, Rayne." Isabella rambled on.

Rayne's mind was somewhere else, even though he was in the room with Isabella.

He couldn't stop thinking about the woman in the long red gown, his fated mate. He couldn't forget the look she gave him and the way her cheeks were tinted red from crying so much.

He knew he was selfish, but he was not ready to let go. He will either train her hard and check if she is indeed his mate or discard her if she is not.

His thoughts were interrupted when Isabella cupped his member in her small hands. Rayne hissed slowly as he threw his head back softly. Isabella went down on her knees and gently pulled his pants down.

Rayne was already rocked hard, and he hissed.
