Chapter 9

When Klynne found out that she was in a safe house, she didn’t imagine that it would be a house in the middle of the woods, and there would be a lake near it. It was too early when they woke up that fog could still be seen, while streaks of sunlight were peaking from tall trees. The magnificent view instantly gave her a relaxing feeling, especially when she let the fresh cold breeze of air come into her lungs. For a moment, she thought she’s in a different world.

Klynne brushed her shoulder while her other arms were holding a small thermos, she saw in the kitchen earlier. If she only knew that the atmosphere outside the house wasn’t as warm as in the house, she should have gotten at least something to cover herself. She looked all around the house but didn’t find him, thus, she tried to walk farther.

She saw the wooden dock near the lake that seemed tempting to sit on, but she needed to find Mr. Cortel first. That way, she could tell him about the music box.
