Klynne looked at herself in the mirror. The white floral dress perfectly fits her. After changing her clothes, she went out of the room and saw a hallway that directed her to a receiving area, next to it was the dining area.

She saw the secretary preparing the utensils while still wearing an apron over his long sleeve.

Travis must have sensed her thus she threw his head up to meet her gaze.

“Good morning,” he greeted.

“Good morning, Mr. Travis. I’m really confused right now. What was happening?”

Travis laughed at the way she addressed him. “Samantha, c’mon. We’re still friends after all. Stop acting like we’re strangers to each other.”

She moved closer and looked at the dish he’s preparing. She felt her mouth watering just by the smell of the food.

She shook her head a little to focus on what Travis was saying. “But you’re a stranger to me.”
