An Encounter, Part II

Xia brought me to a place where there was very few people. I was a bit nervous, but I tell myself that there's no need to feel that way. I'm sure this will be nothing but closure, but I'm certain of another thing as well...

"Uhm, about before… I'm really sorry." She said and faced down. "I was selfish, forcing you to date me and then suddenly leaving you. I'm really sorry for the things I've done."

"…It's fine." I said, though I think the past me wouldn't have agreed on what I said.

"N-No, I don't think it's fine… I hurt you badly-"

I cut her off before she could even tell me more. "Haven't I told you before? I only dated you to try you out."
