He shook his head and I opened my mouth to protest again but he swallows my words with his lips, his kiss eats my reluctance, I don't even notice when my hands found his neck and I was pulling him down. Prologue
It was a dark night in Wolf's valley, with the sounds of a terrifying thunderstorm and ruthless rain pelting on the glass walls of the royal villa, the whole Glasshorn island was gearing up for the unknown.
The high waves of the nearby dark sea were hitting the proud rocks of the moon-blessed mountain which has been protecting the wolf's valley since the old days of moon goddess walking on land and water. Their clash could be unmistakeably heard to the end of the island making the whole wolf clan of wolf's valley shudders in fear.
Their Queen Jessica Langston was occupied with rocking her two weeks old babe, draped in the finest silk of Glasshorn Island, who was wailing like he was in severe pain, breaking his mother's delicate heart.Whereas their King Winfred. K. Langston LXI was pacing the floor with unease tugging at his every nerve. He understood his two weeks old babe's trauma given his Langston blood even the little pup could measure the upcoming mayhem.
The King didn't know how to prepare for the disaster, his beast was also unnaturally quiet making the human side of him terrified.The sky was slowly turning into the shade of deep purple and the rain was turning into the heavy fall of hailstorm when suddenly King saw outside his royal room and met the sharp purple eyes of a pure sparkling white wolf, it was unnatural.
The King couldn't believe his eyes, he strode toward the window in a hurry but before he could even blink the magical creature was running toward the high mountain.
The King's instinct guided him to follow it and not chase. As soon as King shifted into his beast, the human side lost control and it was his beast leading him toward the unknown. The beast was smooth with his jumps and laps like he already knew where to go.The King was about to question his beast when he saw and met those enchanting purple eyes again, the purple matched the sky and the land was sparkling like the creature's fur and before King could shift or even question it, the mythical creature spoke,
"Be ready for the Unknown,
It will be something out of your wits,But if your disgrace the blessing that I am, It will leave your clan torn.One of my kind will grace the family, Leading your kind to an era full of prosperity."As soon as King heard the prophecy he knew, it was not the disaster but a blessing he has been granted, but before he could move, the dark peace embraced him and the next morning he woke up to a clear sky and bright day.
He woke up on his large bed and met his wife's relieved eyes and later found out he was not the only one who heard the oracle but the only one fortunate enough to see the mythical creature who later was recognized as Moon Goddess herself.
