MasukCONNOR
When the door bell rang, I knew it was Lola.
I texted her as soon as Eddy left my office yesterday, and she begged me to allow her to come see me today. We agreed on 9:00AM.
As I walked to get the door, I glanced at my wristwatch and the time was 8:48AM.
I hesitated for a second before opening the door, because I wasn't sure how to face her for an offence we both knew I was guilty of too.
Nevertheless, I clicked the door open. Standing before me was a woman, obviously sad and confused, her face long and puffy from probably crying long hours.
Not knowing what to say first, I just moved out of the way to allow her inside.
Lola walked straight up to a couch and let herself sink in, then she buried her face in her palms, her hair falling all over her arms, depicting a perfect image of a woman who doesn't know what becomes of her.
Inhaling slowly, I exhaled loudly.
"Did you tell Eddy where you were going?"
She didn't answer. I let her be.
Walking over to the couch opposite where she sat, I lowered myself down into it, folding my hands in front of me, my nerves stretching from how restless I had been since Eddy came to see me.
"Your husband was at my office yesterday. I told you. Did the both of you talk it out?"
Silence.
Lola was so steady and silent, I almost thought she had drifted into sleep.
"Lola, look! If you are here, it means you are willing to talk to me. Nothing good will come out of being quiet and by yourself like you are currently doing."
She raised her head to look at me the same time I dropped my last word.
Her eyes were red and puffy, hot fresh tears glazing the skin of her face.
"I'm sorry," I muttered.
"For the fact that you have to go through this, and for being helpless to you at the moment," I stuttered, rubbing my hands together regretfully.
Sniffing, she shook her head, and managed a small smile that looked rather pathetic.
"What happened? I need to hear from you," I urged her, hoping she would speak out somehow.
It took a while before she finally cleared her throat loudly, causing me to adjust in preparation to hear what she had to say.
"That day, we had a strange chef. I knew something was off with the way he spoke, taking particular interest in me...," she exhaled, and I could almost read her pains.
"During our practicals, he insisted on helping me, and in the process, those pictures were taken without my knowledge."
She was stuttering too much at this point, it got me worried.
"Can you take a moment to breathe?" I urged, fighting the urge to move to where she sat and hold her.
"I'm not sure. It's just that this time, I think I was wrong," she continued, her voice broken and her body rising and falling as she breathed heavily.
"It's easy for you to think that way," I answered, clasping my fingers to stop them from trembling so much.
It wasn't about the broken woman crying profusely in front of me now, it was about how my heart reached out to hers in ways I wasn't supposed to.
I cleared my throat, adjusting in my seat as I continued to watch Lola. She had buried her face in her palms with her elbows digging into her thighs, but the curves of her hips against the sofa were enough to tug at myself reservation.
I nibbled at my lower lip, sighing softly to the slow build up of the thoughts in my head.
I wasn't sure that was what Lola needed at the moment, and I was careful not to make a mistake that would blow all of this up.
"Uuhm...water? It will help you feel better," I added, hoping she looks at me.
She didn't. She just shook her head.
"I'm sorry. There might just be another opportunity," I said in an effort to reassure her.
"Opportunities?" she asked, putting her hands down to look at me with eyes I struggled to stare back at — they were red and swollen with the stories she probably never told anyone. I was sorry for my words before she started talking.
"Why do I have to struggle for an opportunity?"
Her voice was laced with a kind of pain I knew I would never understand.
"Shhhh," I beckoned, standing on my feet, my body tense with a raging desire to make this woman never cry again for the rest of her life.
"Come here," I said softly, almost gagging when she stood up.
I wasn't sure if I was the one that moved or she did, but in an instant, our bodies were pressed against each other's and I lost every control of it.
Slowly, my hand moved up her waist, settling under the swell of her br*asts. I waited for her reaction. She didn't back away. That was all the conviction I needed.
Guarding her back to the sofa, I helped her lay flat on her back.
I acted hastily, my impatience playing out in the way I tore her clothes away to reveal the smooth of her skin.
She didn't object. Just stared down at me like she had no idea what I was up to and was patiently watching to find out.
I took her tit, trapping it between my lips, something burning fiercely inside me.
With my tongue, I ran a line across it, satisfaction running me down hard. I gagged, but refused to let go still.
My cock stiffened against my pants, and maybe I would have been able to manage it, but Lola shifted in position, rolling over until her hands were between our bodies.
I gagged hard when she grabbed me down there, my soft satin pants folding with the curve of her fingers.
That was it.
That was it, and we devoured each other like they wouldn't be another time.
LOLAAnother knock broke out against my door — sharp, impatient. My breathing seized for a second."Freddy!" I muttered, clutching tight at the material initially hanging between my fingers. My eyes were watery from my own arousal, and I couldn't wait to finally be able to feel the emotions that remained unlocked in my heart. My cheeks burnt red. I was so embarrassed that I packed up the box and shoved them under the sheets.Adjusting the belt of my bath robe, I did a short breathing exercise to keep my voice firm.Clutching the knob of the door, I took one last deep breath before yanking it open.I gagged, my chest tightening to the sight in front of me. Not only did I not expect to see Eddy in front of my door by the time of the night, I was too fired up to handle whatever he had come to say.It was ridiculous, but I wondered if he was here because of what I said to him at the stadium, and I feared we might end up doing something we both would regret by morning."Hi, Eddy," my voice
LOLAWith my heart hammering hard against my chest, I hurried through the lonely path that led back to the stadium where the rest of the family ought to still be.I was sure practice had ended, and me missing right in that moment wouldn't look too good. The plan was to get there first, and then, Connor could come later.Standing before my father-in-law, all sweaty, my breathing giving away the fact that I had jogged all the way back, I thought of the best response to a question he had not even asked."We had been done for a while now. We were worried," Greg spoke, his eyes scanning every inch of my body in a way that felt rather uncomfortable.Struggling to keep my breathing steady and my shoulders up, I looked from my father-in-law to Eddy — his face was locked in an expression that told me just how much he wanted to say and how he was just waiting for the right time to come at me.Freddy was standing behind them, arms folded across his chest, skin glazed with sweat and his gaze send
CONNORI wasn't a hockey person. I loved playing and watching outdoor games, but not hockey. Any other thing can work, not just hockey. Nevertheless, I had travelled to Norway with the Langfords to support Eddy's younger brother's game which was upon request by the director. He had texted me about it, and because Lola was going too, I knew I had to be there.Eddy might be right. I was there because of his wife, but there was a continuation of that truth Eddy didn't bother to add.I was there because I wanted to make sure his wife was protected from him.Through the flight, I had noticed Lola's discomfort, but I didn't get the opportunity to ask her why even until we had to watch skating on the ice. When I became fed up pretending like I was enjoying the practice game, I excused myself and went in search of even greater fun."Miss what?" she asked, the tension in her voice breaking apart."Get here first," I urged, leaning against the closest wall to me."What did you say?" her voice
LOLAI was mostly to myself through the flight, my thoughts everywhere, and my body doing a good job staying calm despite the storm that brewed underneath my skin.It was a long journey. When we touched down at the Norway airport, I was too tired to even think straight, and I felt too sleepy. I couldn't wait to be ushered into our rooms, then take a long hot shower and hide under the blankets, away from the reality I could never actually ever run from. Then, my father in law's words delivered like a blow to my face, "We will watch his practice tonight.""What the heck!" Eddy blurted out, his voice rising above his usual beat."You heard me, Eddy," Mr. Greg shot at him, looking around to make sure nobody had any other objection.Eddy was obviously not comfortable with the plan. He sighed, tugging at his tie uncomfortably as he paced around the space in front of him.Connor, on the other hand, stood at a distance with his hands folded, and his face holding a solid neutral expression.I
EDDYMy father makes the most spontaneous decisions. No wonder it was always difficult to work with him, and he thinks I am still not good enough.I pulled out another stick from the cigarette pack I had in my other hand. Sighing, I lit it and had drawn a long puff from it when I noticed someone was loitering beside me."We just had to board a flight when we had better options," I sighed, leaning back on the wall of the cabin. I was pissed standing as a family with Freddy, Lola and my father. Freddy was a freaking rival as long as I was concerned, and Lola? an intruder that was going to be done serving her purpose soon. So, I had strolled to a quiet corner to get a smoke or two."It's just impossible to please that old man!" I snapped, stomping my feet hard on the ground, pulling my jacket closer, and readjusting my scarf to cover my face.I drew another long puff from my cigarette, releasing it towards the mass of fog in front of me, my brain suddenly getting weary of the other pres
FREDDYI rolled my eyes at the plate of snacks in front of me, sighing at how messy my relationship with my family had become, but having no regrets whatsoever concerning my decision."Everything is wrong here," I muttered, grabbing my glass of water and pouring every single drop down my throat. My father grunted beside me, and Eddy made a tired sound, letting his cutlery slip through his fingers to the plate noisily.I swallowed, pushing the words I had to say back down my throat. My eyes wandered over to where Lola sat, unsettled as usual, her face void of any real emotion. It was almost like she was checking her breathing too, careful not to sniff in the wrong direction.Letting my guards down, I allowed my gaze linger longer on her face, and for some reason, I couldn't help but notice how much of the wrong piece she appeared as on the table — not because I think she wasn't family which was sad enough giving that it had to be Eddy, but because her demeanor made her appear so in eve
LOLAI swallowed, closing my eyes to the pain of the moment suddenly ending because of the same thing I had feared.I was back in my room - the room I shared with Eddy, and I was sitting n*ked on the toilet seat, my face pressed hard against my palms when I remembered that I had forgotten my flops
LOLAFredmon. My ex-boyfriend I had broken up with two years ago to marry the man who was now my husband, my nightmare.Same tall blonde with his jacket hanging loose on his arm like he was fighting the urge to leave it in the trash, his tie unknotted across his neck like a scarf, his plain shirt t
LOLAMy fingers felt numb around the glass. I had been holding it for the past thirty minutes, not bothering to taste its content."Stand close to the bar. Don't follow me around."I was standing close to the bar, just overlooking the show in front of me.The room was all golden lights, and string
Bulky. Too tight. Top part too revealing. To crown it all, I detested red for clothes, but the fitting assistant had called it "stunning" and Eddy had nodded in agreement. Now, standing in the quiet living room of our home in Malibu in that same dress, my body feeling not like mine, I waited for Ed
