SELIORA POV

“What the hell!” I muttered angrily watching the members of Obsidian pack giggling and partying.

A few minutes ago, I was in the room in which Kaelion had ordered his men to take me when I heard noises and chants.

At first, I decided to ignore it but it kept getting increasingly loud.

Out of curiosity, I decided to check to see what was going on for myself and walked out of the room. I made my way out of the house quietly and made sure not to attract any attention to myself.

This also seemed to me like a good way to look around the house.

“There surely has to be a way I can get out of this hellhole,” I thought to myself but as I continued to walk towards the noises, I was shocked by the scene.

It seemed like Kaelion’s pack was having a party. The more I stared at them, the angrier I got but I knew I had to hold it all in.

It was too early to start causing trouble.

“You should be in your room,” I heard Kaelion say to me from behind.

Somehow he had noticed I was not in the room.

“I heard noises,” I mumbled, turning back to look at him but soon noticed the entire pack had directed their attention to me.

“You should have killed her too since her father is the one responsible for the attack!” One of the pack members growled.

He looked like he wanted to tear me apart in that moment but I didn't fear him. If not for the situation, I knew I would beat him fair and square in a one-on-one fight in just seconds.

“We will talk about this tomorrow, tonight we celebrate,” Kaelion stated in a firm tone before moving closer to me. “Come with me right now.”

I reluctantly walked away with him but as we walked into the living room, he glared at me with so much anger in his eyes.

“I was not trying to escape, I only got curious,” I muttered, maintaining eye contact with him.

“You are not allowed to go out of the house without my permission, Seliora. This is my first rule!” He yelled. “Seeing you around would only remind them of what your father did to our pack.”

“My father did nothing!” I cut in but managed to calm myself down.

There was no point arguing or even talking to him. All I had to do was prove to him that I am right and destroy him afterwards.

“As long as you live here, you will obey me and abide by all my rules,” He continued, this time in a much lower tone.

“Please by all means, enlighten me with your rules,” I responded, in a sarcastic tone.

Kaelion parted his lips but before he could say a word, the door creaked open. I noticed his expression changed as he saw the lady who looked the same age as me walk in.

“We will talk about this tomorrow, go get some rest because you have a long day ahead of you tomorrow,” He simply whispered to me walking closer to her.

As I walked away and tried to find the room I was earlier asked to stay in, I could hear some of Kaelion's conversations with her.

“She should not be here, her father might launch another attack on us, Kaelion. You should have killed her or left her at her pack,” I heard her say.

“At least she is smart,” I whispered to myself before spotting the room.

As I entered the almost empty room which had a small chair and a small wooden wardrobe I collapsed onto the bed.

I then closed my eyes and took a long deep breath while running my hands through my hair.

I thought about how broken mother and father would be after returning home to see our pack destroyed and even how devastated they would be after discovering Kaelion had taken me away with me.

They had already lost one daughter in the past, I could not let them lose me too.

“You have got this, Seliora,” I said to myself, opening my eyes and standing up.

I made my way towards the wardrobe as I needed to get out of the ripped and dirty ball gown which I had had on the entire day.

I opened it up and found some old clothes that looked like they had been abandoned for a long time.

“I will have to make do with what I have,” I muttered, picking out a big white shirt.

I dusted it then removed my gown, and changed into it.

It was finally time for me to get some rest but as I lay down on the bed, I saw a tray of food with a bottle of water on the floor right across me.

“He has some nerves,” I whispered to myself.

There was no way I could eat or even drink after everything I had witnessed in the past ten hours.

Feeling tired, I closed my eyes in the hope of getting some sleep but I just could not, the only scene replaying in my head was how Kaelion and his men slaughtered my pack members.

I lay still on the bed and continued to relive the moment over and over again until I lost count.

“This won't do,” I mumbled to myself, opening my eyes.

I then sat up and decided to come up with ways to get back at Kaelion instead. I needed to be extra smart and one step ahead of him to even have a chance against him.

I began to contemplate over and over again on what to do until a brilliant plan finally occurred to me.

“You are never going to see this coming, Kaelion,” I stated, staring blankly at the door.

The plan required a lot of patience but it was all going to be worth it after I exposed the truth behind his accusations and avenge my pack.

  • SELIORA'S REVENGE; HER COMEBACK   chapter 21

SELIORA POVI peeped from under the table to see who it was.It was Kaelion. He must have forgotten something and came to pick it up.I was frightened but managed to keep my cool, I could not let him find me here.“I was informed by the guards that you let Seliora go,” A voice whom I assumed to be Jackson’s said.He was with him.“Yes,” Kaelion responded to him just as he was about to turn towards where I was hiding.Seizing this opportunity, I quietly crawled away and tiptoed towards the shelf.“According to the doctor, she needed to get some rest. I could not just leave her in the cell for her condition to worsen,” Kaelion replied to Jackson while I peeped from where I was.“This is going to upset Claire. What if Seliora loses her cool and attacks her again?” Jackson stated, his voice filled with concern.“I have it all under control, besides it won’t be long till I get rid of Seliora,” Kaelion stated, taking more steps towards the table. He then opened one of the drawers and picked

SELIORA POVI had no regrets about what had earlier happened with Claire. I only saw an opportunity and decided to use it to my advantage.Claire’s action took me a bit by surprise though, she looked so innocent but now I knew exactly who she was.Her coming to see me was all a trick to provoke me which I fell for.“I know you don't trust me, I don't trust you either but it's really simple. I would have killed her way before you even intervened if I wanted to,” I said, looking at Kaelion. He said nothing afterwards and only walked away quietly while I wondered why he came to the cell in the place.“It probably makes him so happy to see me here,” I muttered, lying down on the blanket one of the guards had earlier given to me.This was my second night being taken captive under Kaelion’s pack and I still have not been able to make any significant progress. All my plans seemed to have either failed or backfired.“Fuck!” I stated angrily, standing up.Lying down was not helping, it only m

KAELION POVSeeing the proud look Seliora had on her face after almost murdering one of the closest people I had left made me fear I might have gone too soft on her.I needed to remind her that she was being taken captive here.“Go into your room and call the pack doctor. I will see you in a minute,” I stated, facing Claire. She nodded her head and walked away quietly while I wondered what to do with Seliora.“You would have killed her if I were not here to stop you,” I yelled, trying so hard to hold back my anger. If Seliora had hurt her, I would not have been able to forgive myself. “You disobey my rules every chance you get. You are going to get punished this time,” I growled.“Really,” Seliora simply responded. It seemed like she had something to say but I didn't want to hear whatever it was she had to say.“I was protecting myself from her, she attacked me!” She stated.I was sure there was no way Claire was lying to me, Seliora had to be the one lying.“Did you ask her for a wa

SELIORA POV“Where am I?” I mumbled, slowly opening my eyes. The last thing I remembered was collapsing in front of Kaelion while trying to talk to him. I managed to open my eyes completely and tried to sit up but I was too weak. I scanned the room with my eyes slowly and from what I could tell, I was in a hospital.“You are fine, you were brought here to the pack clinic by the Alpha,” I heard a voice say.“Kaelion,” I muttered in disbelief. He was the last person I imagined would bring me here.“Yes,” The pack doctor replied, walking towards me with a tray of food of water. “You have to eat, you are suffering from extreme exhaustion and starvation.”“How long was I out for?” I asked, taking the tray from him.“About six hours,” The doctor responded.“Wow,” I mumbled.“Eat up and rest, I will be back in three hours to check up on you,” The doctor said, walking away.I slowly opened up the plate which contained a bowl of food, some vegetables, and steak. “Smells good,” I whispered, t

KAELION POVThis didn't look like a trick or an attempt to fool me but if it was, she must be pretty good at acting.Without a second's thought, I picked her up and hurried towards the quarter where the pack doctor lives with Jackson right behind me.Whatever it was, I could not let her die. She was only useful to me alive.“Get her on the table,” The pack doctor who seemed to have sensed us coming instructed.I gently placed her down while watching the doctor examine her. For some reason, I hated to see her this way.It reminded me of how helpless I felt seeing Misha’s dead body.“What is wrong with her?” I inquired, running out of patience.“She is suffering from starvation and extreme exhaustion, Alpha. It seemed like she had not slept or eaten for a long amount of time,” The doctor explained.I knew Seliora was relentless and stubborn but I never thought she would succumb to starving herself. I felt sorry for chaining her and dragging her to the border but there was no way I could

  • SELIORA'S REVENGE; HER COMEBACK   Chapter 16

SELIORA POVThis was enough to prove that Kaelion might have been wrong about everything. He was so quick to assume this attack was from my father.Maybe he acted under annoyance and should have probably investigated the attack or maybe his mate’s death made him too delusional to even think things through.Either way, I loved his response and looked forward to making him suffer till he took his last breath. I had also hoped this was Father but I was not disappointed. I was sure he was doing everything he could to get me out of here. This was going to be a bit hard for him considering Kaelion wiped out all of our pack members and father’s men.“We have to go,” The familiar man who earlier came into the office to break the news of the attack to Kaelion announced standing right next to me.“You are his Beta right,” I muttered, looking sideways at him. “What is your name?.“Jackson,” He answered, coldly.“I am guessing Kaelion is also your friend,” I uttered. “What do you want?” Jackson
