Chapter 50 : Dwarves

"What did he do to you? Tell me the truth," Sera asked.

Amos found his position very uncomfortable, plus he wasn't wearing any clothes at all. He couldn't concentrate on Sera's questions.

"Amos," Sera repeated.

"He sucked my blood, Miss," Amos replied.

Sera was clearly surprised. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Amos was silent. What was he supposed to say anyway?

"He suddenly grabbed me in the kitchen," Amos explained.

"No, not that. What I'm asking now is, why didn't you tell me?"

Amos gulped at the woman's anger. "I didn't know what to do. I don't know if I deserve protection. For all I understand, I'm just a slave. I have no right to say no. If I tell you, isn't it the same as me not knowing my place?"

Sera gasped at Amos' answer. "You are my slave. You should tell me anything if something happens."

Amos was silent. Sera walked up to Amos, rubbed the man's cheek and forced him to look at her face. "Always remember that only I can touch you. Do you understand? Anyone who touches or hurts
