Amelia woke up to a hushed voice that didn’t sound far from where she laid. She struggled to lift her eyelid since it seemed as though there was a heavy weight on it.

She let out a soft groan as her eyes finally shot open.

Noah was there, staring at her keenly, with a torch that illuminated the area and gave a clear view of her face.

He was stunned at her beauty, even though her face looked swollen and for a minute, all he did was stare at her and gape in amusement.

Amelia used the back of her hands to shield her eyes from the intensity of the light that struck her eyelids. She wondered who it was, but smiled calmly when she caught a glimpse of Noah’s head.

“Noah! Is that you?” Amelia asked as Noah finally lowered the torch and laughed aloud.

“Hi Amelia! How are you feeling this morning?” He asked Amelia who scrunched her brows and threw a confused gaze at him.

She had no idea of what the time was and the darkness of the dungeon made her unaware of what the time might be.
