Amelia’s Pov

I could see the rage in Alexander’s eyes and deep down, it made me shiver. I had never seen him that raged since I came into the mansion.

On my part, I was extremely annoyed. How could he have given me a punishment that involved spending three nights in the dungeon?

“What did you say?” Alexander’s voice pierced into my thoughts, and that was when I recalled that I had said something that angered him.

“Did you say that you won’t get on your feet?” He asked in a louder voice, digging into my soul with his eyes.

I gulped down hard and looked at the other girls who had an amused look on their faces. Apparently, they were surprised at the taunt I was presently pulling.

The men around looked at me calmly, with a smirk on their faces. I couldn’t bear looking over at Alexander’s face because I could feel how he looked already.
