I could hear the faint sound of the alarm clock going off as I slowly opened my eyes to see the bright sun shining in. I smiled to myself knowing that for the first time in two years I met someone and was happy about it. I sat on the bed crying for what felt like hours as I started recalling past memories of Bryce. Why would he call me, knowing how thing ended between us. The drive to the Italian restaurant was quite enjoyable. His cologne was intoxicating and swirling around me. The smell of his cologne was all over the car making it hard to think. We were sitting in a small room in the back of a quiet family owned Italian resturant. I was surprised to see the owner of the resturant talk to Jayce as if he had known him for quite some time. There was hardly anyone in the place but the atmosphere was pleasant and quaint. "I know it's a small place but they have some of the greatest food and I wanted a place where we could have some private quiet time," he said as I stared at his blue-green eyes. I smiled and knew that given his popularity and who he was, finding some place quiet would be difficult but it appeared as if he had gotten exactly what he wanted. I was surprised to learn that he had a younger sister and that his parents were still happily married and living in Florida.
