Sophie had half-expected him to tell her to leave. He had always been impulsive and spontaneous. It was what drew her to him from the start. But after two years of living out of her comfort zone, she had started to crave some predictability. Or so she thought. Ultimately, her inability to make up her mind about what she wanted is what led to their downfall.

He offered her the world. Anything she wanted, he would make it happen. He’d marry her or not. They would have kids, or they wouldn’t. All he cared about was the two of them being together. And it terrified her.
