47. Gap

The curfew is 9 o'clock, above that hour all students should already be in the rooms ready for bed. But now it is time before the curfew comes. Carol was in the park of the inn, sitting on a park bench enjoying looking at the night sky and the stars. This is their second night in the resort, last night Carol locked herself in the room and could not enjoy the atmosphere. Anthony came to join her, sitting on a bench in the hotel park.

“I heard what happened this afternoon. Why would you do that?" she asked, opening the conversation with a hot topic.

“I have a strong reason." He didn't want to give a long justification of his action. “Never mind! I didn't come to see you to talk about it.” Anthony took out Alan's letter. "For you. I've come to deliver this.”

Carol looked at Anthony with enlarged eyes, surprised to receive the letter. “Where did you get this?”

“From the treasure spot. I was looking for it this afternoon. Read it when you are alone or feeling alone." Entertain Anthony.
