48. One Year Ago

Afternoon on return from school field trip. James's house is usually empty, until late at night the owner returns from office work and business affairs. Only the housekeeper greeted James's return and it was familiar to him. Returning to an empty house is better than being away from family and friends in a foreign land.

James rested himself on the kingsize bed in his bedroom. Although his body feels relaxed, his mind is full of various thoughts and affairs that still need to be resolved. One of the most private and disturbing thoughts since yesterday is Anthony.

James reaches for the phone, dials Anthony's saved contact number. The tone of the dial rang, in the next second line connected.

“Isn't our conversation not over yet? If you feel the slightest bit guilty to me, come see me now." It's his way to hook Anthony’ heart soft spot.

“Where are you?"
