It had been two days since the attack, Archer was beginning to get worried about Cara. She had closed herself off, eating minimal food and not speaking a word.
“Please Cara,” Archer urged, clutching her hands as he knelt down on the floor in front of her. “You need to eat something. If not for me, for our baby.” Cara nodded, the only response she had given him over the last few days.
