She Rejected The Lycan king

Cynthia's POV

"Don't KILL me! I'm pregnant! I'm carrying your baby!"

I cried, begging my husband, Alpha Daniel, in the hope of evoking his mercy.

The heavy chains around my slender arms made me feel like a rabbit entangled in a boa constrictor. I had bare feet, as I had lost my shoes in the escape.

Since I had accidentally heard the horrible secret in the conference room, I fled desperately. I ran with my feet dripping with blood, but finally, I was caught.

I was caught by my husband Daniel and my sister Jenny. They hanged me in the cellar in chains.

" DON'T KILL ME, DON'T KILL ME, Daniel. I'm pregnant with your child, please, please, you CAN'T kill me!"

I kept pleading. I was both the noble daughter of Alpha and the new Luna of the Rosebud Pack, but now I threw away all my dignity to beg for a living.

I despised such a lowly self, but I had to survive for the sake of the four-month-old child in my belly.

"Kill her! Daniel!" Jenny growled in a shrill voice.

The six-inch knife in Daniel's hand reflected his hesitant face. Astonishingly, he was seriously considering whether to kill me and our child.

My heart broke into pieces while staring at his handsome face.

Daniel, my beloved husband, the man I insisted on marrying at the cost of rejecting The Lycan King's engagement, was inadvertently discovered by me to be the leader of the Rebel Army.

The Rebel Army is a brutal band consisting of rogues. They rebelled against the Lycan King's rule, abused innocent residents, plundered property, and did terrible things. They are the nightmare of all werewolf packs.

A year ago, I rejected my true mate, The Lycan King, and chose to marry my true love, the rogue Daniel, not thinking I would end up in such a miserable situation.

"Are you hesitating, Daniel? Are you still in love with her? Kill her, quickly, kill the bitch! Only by killing her can you prove that you love me!"Jenny grabbed Daniel's hand and demanded he stabs me.

"I'm also pregnant with your child! Kill her NOW!"

I looked at Jenny in despair, as if I had never known her.

The poor gentle omega sister, Jenny, was abandoned by her biological parents because she was born without a wolf. It was I who begged my father to take little Jenny home.

For so many years, I treated Jenny as my real sister, but Jenny seduced my husband and required him to kill me.

"Honey, how about waiting for the birth of the baby before we kill her? Cynthia is a coward, she wouldn't dare reveal my true identity, she'll keep it a secret." Daniel kissed Jenny's cheek and suggested.

Jenny sneered and push him away, "If the bitch knew that you killed her father, and you caused her brother's broken legs and insanity, do you think she would still keep your secret?"

I couldn't believe my ears as I widened my eyes, "Jenny, what are you saying? Didn't my father die of an illness? Wasn't my brother attacked by rogues ..." I suddenly reacted, " Rogues! the Rebel Army! it's you, it's you!"

"Look Daniel, once Cynthia knew the truth she will hate you, she hated to kill you. Kill her now!"

Daniel no longer hesitated, and he thrust the knife out with force. I felt a horrible pain in my belly. I let out a harsh scream.

A dazzling white light suddenly lit up.

A figure rushed over and wrapped my arms tightly around me, "Don't be afraid, my daughter, Mom is here."

I stopped screaming in the warm embrace, and tears slipped down my cheeks.

Mom is here, Mom, Mom.

I was dead, didn’t I? Dead to see my Mom in heaven.

I hugged the figure in front of me hard, " Mom, I miss you! I miss you so much. I was wrong. I was completely wrong, I should have listened to you."

I noticed that I am now actually lying in the room I used to be in. This is the room I had lived in before I had married Daniel. And the words my mother was saying to me now were the exact words she had told me a year ago after I had woken up from slitting my wrists.

What the hell had happened? Isn't this heaven? Didn’t I die but go back a year ago?

"Baby, we love you, so we're willing to love the man you love, even if that man is a rogue."

I was almost frozen in place. I was 100% sure that this scene and conversation had happened a year ago.

If I remembered correctly, a year ago today, the Lycan King, who had just inherited the throne, came to the Rosebud Pack hoping that I would fulfill my marriage contract and marry him to become the queen of the Lycan Kingdom.

However, I rejected the Lycan King in public, even though I could feel the mate bond between us two, and announced that I would marry the rogue Daniel.

"I, Cynthia, reject the Lycan King as my mate. If you are going to force me to marry you, you will only get my corpse."

"You will regret it." The Lycan King's voice was young but a little hoarse at that moment.

"I will never, ever regret it. My heart belongs only to Daniel. He is the only person I want to marry."

"Good, then, as you wish."

The young king turned to leave unhesitatingly, but the ministers accompanying him were furious.

They could not accept that their king was humiliated in public. They announced that they would remove the Rosebud Pack from The Lycan Kingdom of Lycan.

From then on, all the werewolves of the Rosebud Pack were no longer under The Lycan Kingdom's protection.

This statement almost pronounced the death sentence for the Rosebud pack. We know that The Lycan Kingdom governed 1000 werewolf packs. All the werewolf packs were allies, trading with each other and helping each other.

Once the Rosebud Pack was moved out of The Lycan Kingdom, it would be isolated by the other 999 werewolf packs.

My father, Alpha of the Rosebud Pack, almost fainted after hearing this statement.

He angrily scolded me and asked me to apologize to The Lycan King. However, I was the spoiled girl who would rather slit my wrists than marry The Lycan King.

When I woke up, both my father and mother gave in. They loved me so much that they were willing to take on all the coming storms for me.

Later, I married Daniel as I wished. I thought this was the beginning of happiness but did not expect that this was the starting point of all misfortunes...

Luna wiped the tears from my face and asked with concern, "Why did you just scream? You have a bad dream?"

"I don't know," I shook my head, "I don't know if I'm dreaming now, or I was dreaming before."

"My poor girl, you must not be conscious now. Are you thirsty? I will get you a glass of water."

Luna turned around to get water, and I lifted my shirt in the chat interval.

I saw a red striped mark on my belly. It wasn't a scar, it was more like a tattoo or birthmark, but I swore I never remembered having it on me.

So, was this mark left behind after Daniel killed me?

It all looks pretty absurd, but it's true. Daniel killed me, but I was reborn and turned back to a year ago when I was not yet married to Daniel.

I noticed that there seemed to be something extra around my neck. I looked down and saw that it was a necklace—a black chain with a red pendant in the shape of what looked like an eye.

I reached out to touch it and found that the pendant was made of unique material.

At first, I thought it was a ruby, but I didn't expect it to be a shiny opal. A red opal was very rare.

It had a white fluorescent line in the middle that moved with the light as if a gaze was surveying someone.

What was even more special was that the pendant was warm, and it was constantly outputting heat.

"Mom, did you put this necklace on me?"

"No. Isn't it your own?" Luna handed me the glass.

I clearly remembered that I had never owned this necklace. Did this necklace come with my rebirth?

Intuition told me the necklace was very important, so I hid it inside my collar.

Jenny! The person I least expected to see had appeared!

Jenny jumped into the room in a white dress. At this time, she was still a well-disguised bitch. She squeezed out a few crocodile tears and pretended to be worried as she grabbed my hand.
