CHAPTER 83

It took a little while for everyone to get ready and then they all gathered out the front of the stone wall that surrounded the castle.

Everyone was getting their horses ready and Arthur walked up to me.

“Come on.” Arthur said, holding his hand out.

“We’re sharing a horse? I can walk.” I said. So he walked a little closer to me.

“I know what Troy said to you earlier. Just because he said it, doesn’t mean I am going to act on it. I know that you are desperately trying to get home to your mate. And as you said, I don’t know you well enough to have feelings. So just ignore him. I am not going to try anything and we will get there a lot faster on horseback.” He said.

“Alright. I’m sorry. I feel like an idiot right now.” I said.

“Don’t. I do find you attractive. But that’s my problem, not yours.” He said.
