Reiner's POV When she entered the hall, I instantly knew she was mine. She stood there looking around for the person she knew was her mate. Myla's POVAs I reached the source of the scream, I saw the attacker. He looked similar to the one I had killed only he was bigger. I didn’t care how big he was, he would not hurt anyone again. I leaped on him knocking him to the ground. I could hear my warriors coming, I knew they were close. I could scent my mate; I knew he would come. I felt proud he would join my warriors. The intruder grabbed me by the leg trying to pull me off. Hell no! I wouldn’t give in that easily! I sank my teeth into his shoulder, I bit down as hard as I could. His shoulder made a horrible cracking sound as his bones snapped. He roared with pain. It wasn’t enough, I wanted him dead. He grabbed my jaw trying to make me let go. I obliged, as he pulled me back, I grabbed his throat using his own momentum to snap his neck. His body dropped to the ground just as my mate reached me, followed by my warriors. Reiner’s POV I lay in her bed, surrounded by her scent mixed with mine after we marked and mated each other. I hadn’t expected sex with my mate to be so different from the sex I had before. Reiner’s POV We said goodnight to everyone as we headed to our suite. Evie bounced along holding my hand and telling me everything about her room and the house she will share with her mom. We trudged up the stairs, to our suite. Once inside, I brought Myla to our bed. I could tell she was exhausted. "You don't have to worry, I am just tired," she said. Myla hated when I worried but it's my job as her mate. She had been depending on herself for so long, that it was hard for her to have someone to lean on and help with things.
