Reiner's POVI sat there as my two girls slept. My mate and my daughter I didn’t know I had. My pup safety inside my mate’s womb. I don’t know why the Goddess blessed me but, I knew I was the luckiest Alpha alive.I guess I fell asleep too. I woke up to the doorbell ringing. Both girls were still asleep. Reiner's POV Evie had lots of questions. She was always so curious. “Momma, when the baby is born, will he still be my cousin? Or will he be my brother?” she asked looking worried. “He will be your brother. I bet you guys will be great friends. What do you think?” “Hmm, I think so, but he better not try telling me what to do. I am going to be an Alpha like Momma.” Yup, she is definitely Myla’s daughter. My heart sank. I didn’t think it was fair to keep this from her, but I didn’t know what the consequences would be if I told her. Myla’s POV I couldn’t understand, why didn’t Doc and Reiner just tell me the truth? I wasn’t going to break. I am a different person than the scared little girl who stopped talking for a year. Reiner's POVI looked through the council records to find a list of allies. The only way the packs would agree to a council is with total transparency. All council records were accessible by all the Alphas. The members of the council could only serve for 2 consecutive years. If no one ran for a seat that was becoming vacant, it would simply sit empty. The Alpha Summit was put in place for the Alphas of all the packs to be able to discuss issues with land or borders, problems between packs, attacks, or threats. I looked at the clock.
