“You can run, but you need to run slowly, and limit yourself to ten laps. Your body is supporting another life, you need to remember that.” Doc was giving me the same stern look he had given me that night all those years ago. “I am keeping you here overnight to give you more fluids and to keep an eye on you.”

“Doc, what about my trip?” I was hoping I could still go. If not, I will have a hell of a time trying to convince Reiner to go without me.

“You should be fine to go. I have given your mate a list of things you should do, and things you should avoid. Stick to it and you will feel better.” Doc stood up to leave.

“Hey, Doc, how long will the all-day sickness last?” Reiner’s worry came through our bond.

“It’s hard to say. A lot of times it goes away during the second trimester, but other times, it has lasted through entire pregnancies. Keep an eye on her.” He turned walking out the door.
