Alexander’s POV

It was interesting to see how pale Sharon Sandoval had gotten all of a sudden, she looked like she did not want to be here at all, she reached for her purse and stood up.

“I should be on my way now, I will be in touch” she said.

“What is the hurry Sharon? Stick around for a bit, I will like to hear Dr. Carter’s opinion on your proposal” I said with a smirk on my face.

She shot me a look that told me she wanted to bash my face in with her heels.

“What are you trying to cook up again this time Sharon?” Dr. Carter asked.

“What I do is no business of yours Emily, so mind your damn business” she snapped.

“Don’t worry Dr. I will tell you all about it, have a seat” I said as I turned to Dr. Carter with a smile on my face.

She took a seat, her glare pinned on Sharon Sandoval.

“You must feel like you are in control of everything and that no one can do anything to you” She said to me as she took her seat again, she had a smile on her face but the smile was anything but
