Chapter 89
VIOLET
I walk out of the dining room and go straight to the balcony that became a little common spot Wolf and I visited almost everyday.
I hoped to find him here but instead, I find Viktor.
He is standing close to the railing, his hands holding onto it tightly.
I turn around as soon as I see his back, ready to disappear before he sees me here.
“ You are going to do this now? ” Viktor scoffs.
The hair of my neck rise on their ends. I take in a sharp breath and turn back around.
Viktor’s back is still facing me. His tensed posture doesn’t go unnoticed by me.
“ You deserved what I did to you. It was a reminder to never pull that kind of shit on me again. ” I march forward, coming to a stop beside Viktor.
I grab the railing between my hands just like Viktor and lean a little forward. The fairies are flying around, giving the impression of being fireflies like before.
