Chapter 18 "Things Needed to Seduce Men"

Agatha’s POV

Midnight.

Wearing only a bathrobe, I looked at my phone and saw nothing. It’s already midnight and I knew I had to go back to Lanceil’s condo. But because I got drenched in the rain, I followed Brett to his hotel and had my clothes washed.

While waiting for it to dry, I stayed in an expensive hotel room with a furnished terrace and glass window where I could see the city that never sleeps.

I know that Mr. Brett is rich enough to spend $5 million just to buy me as his slave. But now, I am more convinced that he is damn rich.

‘A room like this might be $40,000 per night.’

I didn’t bother much about the price when my father was still alive, and I was living like a princess. I only knew the worth of every penny when I became poor.

Ding dong~

I looked at the door. Brett told me that the staff would bring my dry clothes back. Therefore, I hurried to the door and opened it.

But instead of seeing the staff, I saw Brett instead.

“You still don’t have your clothes back?” h
