Sally's POV

“I know you've seen right through me since we first met. But from the beginning, hating you was so sweet. I prefer to wish you death.”

I stood tall in front of him, controlling my emotions. I still seemed fed up with his threats. He must have been very jealous of me to make him like that, but there was nothing to be jealous of.

I knew he wanted to be the next in line to succeed our grandfather because he was the first grandchild of the Donne family in the seventh generation, and I was the last.

He can take the throne any time he wants because I don't want that. It will only cause me more pain.

But I guess getting his ass kicked, not once but multiple times by the same person every time they met must have rubbed salt into his wounds over and over again. It hurts, I know.
