Isabella POV

Maverick rushed forward the moment he saw me, his arms reaching for me before he even reached the room. I dropped down and caught him against my chest, holding him so tightly that he squirmed and laughed, the sound nearly bringing me to tears.

I buried my face in his hair and breathed him in, letting the warmth of my son settle the part of me that had refused to believe he was truly safe until I had him in my arms.

"I missed you, Mommy."

"I missed you too, baby."

I wasn't directly

I feel he’s suffered immensely to the point that he needs more emotional healing within, giving him chapters of experiences of firsts with his wolf and what he’s missed out on. Also the Hot rogue wolf and Anita becoming the new alphas of Desmond’s territory would be a great twist

  • TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS    Chapter three: The Doppelgänger

I stare at Grandfather, my eyes widening."Brookville?"He nods. "The next entrance examination is in three weeks. That's plenty of time to prepare."Brookville Academy sits across the valley. On clear days, I can see its towers from the pear tree. I've looked at them my whole life.Every wolf attends Brookville or a similar institution once they come of age, usually at eighteen or older, and they graduate as full members of wolf society. Students are expected to have shifted, and their days begin with pre-dawn parades, followed by strength training, drills, runs through the woods, lectures, and examinations. Fail, and you're disqualified. In my region, a wolf without a Brookville seal can't sit on a council, lead a patrol, or be counted as a grown member of the pack, no matter how old they are.Grandfather always said I would never need one. Schools, he insisted, were for spoiled young wolves with no calling. He taught me himself, every day of my life: accounting, arithmetic, tax law

  • TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS    Chapter Two: The Meridian's Bride

I wake to Grandfather shouting. He never raises his voice, not even when he's angry. My back screams as I push myself upright. I suck air through my teeth and wait for the room to steady.I never intrude when Grandfather has visitors. Instead, I creep onto the landing and hide behind the pillar, peering down into the front hall.Three men stand there in fine dark-wool coats, damp with morning mist. The one in front is tall and lean, silver at his temples, his hands gloved. The other two stand just behind him."She's of age, Tobias," he says. "You can't keep her up here forever.""Who are you to tell me what I can do?" Grandfather shouts. "She's my grandchild. Mine.""She belongs to all of us. To me especially. You made a vow, and you must keep it."Grandfather's eyes burn with such fury I almost expect the man to drop dead."You enter my home uninvited and dare to dictate to me?""We came because you've grown stubborn. She's old enough to marry, and we're tired of waiting. Hiding her

A/N ❤️Hey, my lovely readers! This is just me experimenting with a new story and testing the waters to see how things go.I'm considering opening a separate book for this story so the growing word count doesn't intimidate new readers. However, for my OGs who are already invested, I might try to build up a substantial number of chapters here before making the transition. If everything goes well, I'd really love to have your support when the new book officially comes out.For now, let's just enjoy the ride and see where this little experiment takes us. Feel free to brainstorm and critique. I truly appreciate that.Love you all! ❤️BOOK TITLE: THE ALPHAS WHO MADE ME SIN CHAPTER ONE THE SIN OF WANTING “Confess your sins, Stella.”My grandfather, Tobias, sits by the hearth, soaking a leather whip in a bowl of black chilli water. I stand before him, trembling. My back will bear the welts for days.“I haven't sinned, Grandfather.”My heart skips at the lie.For six days, my skin has burn

Emma POVHand-carved drums pounded out a slow rhythm across the courtyard while the pack elders chanted over it, the same ceremony our people had been performing for centuries.I smoothed the front of my dress. It was emerald velvet, cut close through the waist, with silver thread worked along the collar and sleeves in the shape of moon phases. A sheer silver veil was pinned into my hair and fell just past my shoulders. My father stood beside me and took my hand. His eyes had gone glassy, but he kept his chin level, the way he did when he was trying not to be caught feeling something."You look stunning, sweetie," he whispered, and his voice caught halfway through. "The most beautiful Luna this territory will ever see.""Don't start crying, Dad," I teased, though my own throat had tightened. "You'll set me off."He pressed my arm against his side as the double doors opened.Every seat along the stone path was taken, and I knew nearly every face. My mother sat in the front row between

Emma POV"I'm so proud of you, Alexander," I murmured, wrapping my arms around his neck. Because he was taller, I had to tilt my head back to look up into his beautiful eyes.A flush of unexpected shyness crept up his neck, though a grin tugged at his lips. He glanced around. "Emma, the guards are still lingering right over there...""What?" I laughed, shaking my head. "Are you ashamed of kissing your mate in public now?""Never," he murmured, his hands sliding around my waist. He let out a chuckle. "It's just that the tables have flipped so fast. You're so bold now."I smiled against his chest, letting my fingers trace the collar of his shirt while he rested a hand on my stomach."I think our baby is going to be a girl," I said.Alexander went still. When he looked down at me, his eyes shone."I've always hoped my first child would be a daughter.""Why?" I teased, leaning back to laugh. "Are you planning on spoiling her rotten?""Because daughters never really leave their fathers," h

Alexander POVSome people just don't click, and Charlie and I were never going to be friends. It wasn't about lingering hatred, since that fire had burned itself out, but people tend to anchor themselves to first impressions. Charlie, who had been under my wing at the alpha academy, had held on to the friction afterwards. Now he was tangled up with Veronica, which added layers of complicated mess I had zero desire to untangle.Earlier that morning on the hiking trail, the tension had been impossible to miss. Charlie hadn't said a single word out of line, but his body language screamed *don't come close*. It reminded me of how his eyes had tracked me at the funeral when I stood near Veronica.I didn't care enough to try to win him over, and I sure as hell wasn't going to waste energy forcing a fake smile. My nature has always been simple: if we don't mix, we keep it moving.Besides, knowing Emma, if I brought it up, she would turn it into a whole project and try to mediate peace betwee

The wooden floor of the community center felt cold beneath my sandals.“I’ll volunteer.”A girl in the back row let out a loud snort. Beside me, Sasha’s hand clamped onto my wrist, her fingers digging into my skin to pull me back down. I did not look at her. I knew that if I met her eyes, the logic

My father was screwing his secretary when I pushed his office door open. Wet slaps and grunts filled the room as he drove into her against the desk.My mother had spent three hours over the stove, squinting at a recipe she had memorized years ago. She packed my father's lunch and made me promise to

The Alpha house felt like I was entering it for the first time. Maids walked past me. Guards were posted at every corner, their eyes scanning the corridors. One thing was clear. Alpha Cameron was in the building. The four of us were in the main corridor like a line of silent competitors. Brianna had

LISA POVThe digital numbers on my alarm clock glowed a steady red. I watched them tick by from 5:59 to 6:00. My skin felt cold, and a dull ache rested at the back of my eyes after spending the night awake. I could hear the muffled sound of the television.I headed for the door. The living room was
