PROLOGUE

The venue, the reception, and the crew set-up.

Everything seems ready, happy and excited for the wedding ceremony.

As the soft morning light slipped through the tall glass windows of the bridal suite, roses were arranged along the table.

Everything around the room looked perfect. From the carefully unfolded veil, to the crystal-like gown, displayed nearby the window.

It was the kind of morning every bride dreamed about.

The bride sat in front of the mirror perfectly still as the makeup artist carefully finished the last details of her appearance.

Her hair had been styled into an elegant updo with a few loose strands falling from her face. A veil rested behind waiting to be placed over her head.

She looked beautiful. She's a woman-preparing to marry the love of her life.

Months earlier, she had been struggling to keep her family together while unpaid bills continued to grow. Every day had been another battle, every night another calculation of how much money remained and how much longer they could survive.

Then he appeared.

The bride lowered her eyes as she gazes her engagement ring.

A ring that represents their love and promises.

When the makeup artist finally finished, she stepped away from the chair as the transformation was complete.

For a few seconds, she simply stared at herself smiling.

Then the door opened.

The wedding coordinator entered and signaled that it was time.

Her heart began beating faster, but her sweet smiles never faded.

As the staff who assisted her to the hallway, outside was the bridal suite decorated with white flowers and soft golden lights which made her more amazed.

Later on, the staff moved quietly through the corridor as they make the final preparations before the ceremony began.

Behind those doors are hundreds of guests;

Their family.

Business associates.

Friends.

Photographers.

And the man who was about to become her husband.

As she slowly lifts her gown to enter the church, each step becomes heavier.

The closer she was, the happier she felt.

The first time they met.

The first argument.

The first time he had fallen for her.

While she's walking, there he was.

Standing at the end of the aisle, waiting for her.

The love of her life. Her groom. The man she had promised herself would forever love.

And when their eyes met, she saw his tears falling.

Hundreds of people watching them inside and live. But their eyes were fixed to each other as if it was still a "love at first sight" moment.

There is nothing happier than seeing two people who promised to love each other in front of the altar wearing their "soon" turns into "this is it".

The moment she stepped into the altar, her mother passed her daughter to the groom as she cried, as if that is the last time she's gonna see her daughter after the wedding.

As the wedding goes on, their relatives and friends start to squeal in excitement when the announcement says - "you may now kiss the bride."

"Can you just...behave for once, Monette?"

Felix said complaining on how she reacts after hearing the husband and bride's kiss announcement.

"Ano ka ba, Felix! First kiss natin 'to kaya dapat-maganda tayong tignan sa camera kaya halika na! Halikan mo na ako!"
