He gave a slight smirk, but that smile was filled with disgust. “That’s no longer important, Doc,” he answered coldly. “I am disgusted with my wife. Intense tension suddenly filled the space around Theariza’s bed. “What are her vital signs?” a doctor quickly asked while putting on gloves. “Doctor, she’s having a hard time breathing! Her oxygen is dropping!” Nurse Darryl answered, staring at the monitor. The machine suddenly beeped. Beep… Beep… Beep… “Pulse dropping!” shouted another nurse. “Administer oxygen immediately!” ordered the doctor. The nurse quickly strapped the oxygen mask onto Theariza’s face. “Ma’am Theariza, can you hear me?” the doctor asked loudly yet calmly while gently tapping her cheek. But the woman was barely moving. “Doctor, the oxygen saturation is still dropping!” “Damn it! Prepare emergency medication!” the doctor ordered swiftly.
