MAKE IT MORE SERIOUS

Walking into the room, he heaved a sigh and took off his jacket.

“They took the threat seriously, babe. Did you see the frightened look on their faces?” He asked with laughter while turning to face her.

She smiled and sat on the bed gracefully.

“Yes, they took it seriously. But don’t be surprised if your hard hearted mother fails to comply,” she said and he frowned.

“She won’t. She wouldn’t want to trade the life of her family for anything else,” he said and she scoffed.

“And What if she proves stubborn in the end?” She asked, walking up to meet him.

He kept silent and exhaled deeply.

“I don’t know what my next step would be,” he said.

“We need to make it more serious,” she said and he pulled a surprised face.

“How?” He asked sharply and she didn’t reply.

“Like, you want me to kill someone?” He asked.

“No, I’m not asking you to kill anybody. But we could at least hurt someone,” she said.

“Who?” He asked.

“Any one of them,” she said seriously and he didn’t reply.
