Prologue

                                               

On a cold, rainy, gloomy day, a woman wearing a black cloak is standing behind a bush. She keeps looking at her watch and swearing under her breath. She is carrying a carefully covered baby in her hand while shielding her with an umbrella.

A wolf runs out of the bush and changes into a man before putting his top on. The man's eye color is Aqua blue, so he is an Alpha.

"You took your damn time, Kish; you made me and Alix wait for over thirty minutes," The woman said, raising her voice a bit.

Sorry, Alina, I was waiting for everyone to clear out of the pack house," Kish responded while touching the baby.

"Our daughter is so beautiful, just like you, but why is her body hot?"

"Because I just completed the ritual not long ago. All that power is still struggling inside her. Keep her safe, Kish. Promise me." Her voice broke.

Kish pulled her into his arms and said, 'I promise my star, She will be safe till the day I take my last breath."

She nodded with tears in her eyes, saying, "Under no circumstances is any seer or anyone with premonition powers allowed to look at Alix until the time is right."

"When will the right time be?" Kish asked.

Alina smiled cynically, then put the baby into his arms.

"I have to go; the protection is getting weak. Tell her I love her, and I will always do."

She ran into the bush and disappeared into the night.
