CHAPTER 17

Kiera's POV

Fast forward

We are now here at the gathering. Me and Fiona arrived together. My brother chooses to stay at home while Hendrix is out of sight.

"Do I really need to be here?" I ask Fiona who is sitting right beside me.

"Of course. Hendrix told you to come right?" She said, so I just nodded and looked at the surroundings.

There are only a few people arrived I guess we are too early.

The setup looked like a simple meeting of wealthy people like some gathering of a big company ..

We chose the table in the corner because Fiona said that she didn't want attention and that's the same with me. I hate people looking at me.

Like now, some of the guesses are whispering to each other while staring and some pointing at me. I think gossiping is the right term.

I just ignored them and talked to Fiona about some things.

After some minutes.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here." Three girls went in our way.

I think I remember the girl in the middle.

"Do you have a problem, Greta?"
