Taking A Chance On Life

I stand here stunned beyond words as I stare at the scene in front of me, my fiance who I was about to marry was entangled with another woman in our house that we shared. His hands had a tight grip on the blonde under him as he was slamming into her like he was running a marathon. The shock on his face as I gasped when I entered the room. "Alena ..." my fiance Rayden of three years sputtered as he stared at me with panic in his face. "What is it then?," I asked as I stepped into the room. My fiance was fucking his secretary in my room, on my bed. Knowing what my senses had been telling me was correct., the anger that ignited in me, "You lying snake," I sneered as I stepped fully into the room. "You ugly fucken snake," I sneered again as I stared at Rayden with so much hatred I was almost vibrating. "Baby, you don't actually believe this do you?," Rayden asked trying to act confidently.

"Ohh you dumb fuck, do you expect me to believe your fabricated excuse? Dumb and ugly," I said as I stared around me before my eyes landed on Stephanie who was lying in front of me with no shame or apology on her face as she stared straight at me. She could barely scream before my hand had her by her throat as I stared at Rayden with such hate I growled at him. As I punched her smart mouth in, I raised my hand and punched her again in the face when I felt my senses slip. The image I had walked into had started to flash behind my eyes as I held her on a tight grip.

"We are over and your getting out" I said as I squeezed Stephanie that much harder. I was seething that I stared down at her "Should have taken my warning!," I said as I pulled my fist back and just continuously slammed it into her face and before I knew I was pummelling her with both hands. She tried to fight back but her nails weren't doing anything to stop me as my rage took over. My mind was locked in her smug expression that all my hatred at her constant interruptions, her speaking with her nasally squeak, that even her made up face everyday ran through my head as I was yanked off her by force.

"What are you doing home?," he said as he was fully dressed now as I dropped his bitch on the floor "Get out," I spat, as my adrenaline running in my veins made me throw caution to the wind and I attacked this ugly thing. The rage I thought had ended with Stephanie had ignited and I attacked Rayden without any remorse. Hitting him over and over he didn't have much of a chance to dodge as I came flying at him. I was beyond hurt and all this pent up frustration was pouring out of me. Every time he blamed me, every time he said I was picking at straws, every accusation, till his mocking voice when I never fell pregnant or the fact I was better at home then in the office yet I still controlled more then he knew.

Before I knew what was happening, I was lifted off Rayden and I could feel the embrace I was in was vibrating that began to seep into my consciousness. "Let me go." I thrashed as I raged at Rayden. "Ile never forgive you for this, I hope you rot RAYDEN," I spat as I thrashed against the hold trying to kick him. "Waste of space, waste my time. Let me go," I spats as I thrashed around like a mad person. "Hate you, hate you. Rubbish, fucken throw you in the rubbish," I spat cursing at him and not calming down but not being let go either.

"Your being irrational Alena, we can talk this through. I am not leaving whether you like it or not, we will move past this," he spoke like he had every right when both siblings stepped into the room "I know I messed up, but we love each other," he said as he wiped the blood pouring from his nose. "Get out, disgusting." I said when my eldest brother stepped into my line of sight as I continued cursing at Rayden when I noticed his expression and then focused on him standing in my house.

"You love me too much to lose me Alena. Stop the theatrics. It won't happen again. Let me shower and we will talk." he spoke as he stood up, wiping his hands on his jeans. "I explained I was sorry," he said when the one holding me burst out laughing "If you take him back Ile kick your ass in front of him," my second eldest brother Sebastian spoke above my head, that I knew both my siblings were staring at him. "Rayden we are finished. You will leave willing, forcefully or lawfully take your pick. You have five seconds to answer the question." I spoke as I stared at the man I loved for some many years that he thought so little of my feelings. All these years I had always catered to his every whim because I was so in love with him. I loved how he loved me and now I don't know how to feel about it. I had centred my life around him and took my brother's here even in my most vulnerable state they both came as I know they would always be here for me and now more than ever.

The animalistic feeling coursing through me, made me even angrier. "Ugly bitch, ugly fucken bitch. Can have him, Ugly BITCH," I screeched as I thrashed against my brothers hold and got Rayden in the knees, kicking and cursing at the two of them. "Let me go, Please" I asked my brother as I refused to let that demon fucker touch me. Disgusting little cunt and I was threw. This will forever be the reason I hated Rayden fucken James. "Who are yous?," Rayden asked as I stared at him "None of your business," I spat as I had a raised eye brow at him as I watched Stephanie quickly change. This slow bitch and her ugly worker. "Get Out Rayden," I said as my brother still had not let me go yet both my brothers were a sight to behold especially in person.

The three of us together we have very strong genes, it's very noticeable to see the resemblance between us and to see Rayden take a step back as he took us all in, before he opened his mouth before closing it again and staring at us unsure. I had spoken off my siblings but had never met any of them cause I wanted to ensure this was real. what type of shit is this. "Mav can you help the intruder pack his shit and drop him to somewhere else." I said as I moved away from the room heading for the kitchen as I stayed in there as my brothers helped Rayden, pack his shit without any more remarks as I felt that I could lose myself and end up in jail and be watched all over the CI channel for jealous girlfriend. From the room I was in I sat there as I hunted for something strong that should be in one of these cupboards and found it.

A simple gift from home, a Jack Daniels gold label prestige in its pretty decanter my mother refills when she flies here. Pouring myself a drink I just sat and thought about what I had experienced today. All of my insecurities that he ignored, all my clues he said I fabricated,, when he started pulling away from me and when he started becoming mean whenever we spoke above something related to me. His jealousy that stemmed with my higher paying role then his yet I still found time to cater to his every whim even if I didn't believe what he said. Sipping my glass I found myself pouring myself an entire glass of whiskey, sipping it and feeling it burn down my throat. I had a big breakfast this morning before I headed home, so that was smart thinking.

I had put in a reservation for dinner with my brothers in the downstairs restaurant and I didn't want to be in this house anymore. The reality of my situation wasn't exactly safe anymore and my sanctuary was now dirtied and now I needed to get rid of everything. "Mav," I called out to my eldest brother "Can you sell it, I will come back with you both," I said when my brother stood in the kitchen doorway as he stared down at me. "You bought it, could keep it as a rental property?," He offered as a I saw Rayden head poke into the kitchen as he stared at me.

"This is our home, you can't do that," he sputtered when I narrowed my eyes at him "This is not up for debate," I said as I looked back at my brother who nodded before walking away with his phone to his ear. "You didn't contribute to household expenses, something below you yet you didn't do anything. Who do you think you are to eavesdrop on private conversation?," I spat rolling my eyes at this dudes audacity. "Alena, baby. This is going to far. How about I give you time to calm down and think about it and I will come back later?," he continued to question as I stared at this idiot like he was slow.

"We ..... are ........ finished!!! I ain't going to entertain you any longer." I spoke when Sebastian stepped back into the kitchen sitting at the table casually as he took it in. "Who are these people?," he snapped and usually I would avoid angering him as it would cause an argument but right now I just needed him out. "Older versions of me," I spoke with a raised eyebrow when Maverick walked back in leaning against the door frame, all three of us staring at him. As he stared confused than he stared at both males standing in the kitchen.

"It's a misunderstanding, Alena," he pleaded as I didn't make any moves towards him as I rubbed my temples. "Ring the cops, have him removed," I spoke, when Maverick pulled his phone back out and started dialling, that's when Rayden lost his temper and started yelling when Maverick shot off the address before hanging up and watching with rapt attention to the full grown male having a tantrum in my house. We all sat there not in the least awkward about the situation.

He stormed around yanking things and gathering all his personal items when there was a knock at the door. The police had arrived and he continued his tirade about misunderstanding, it's not what it looks like, it was a mistake, didn't mean anything. Yet all I could think of is whether this slime ball impregnated anyone. Oh my gosh I was even more disgusted. This creature is vole I am losing my mind. Having the police here to ensure his swift removal from my apartment, I knew I couldn't remain here it was tainted and it's time I returned home. "How long before you can sell it?," I turned to Maverick who looked around hopefully before we leave the city." he spoke as I nodded and booked somewhere else until this was sold.

I decided to list the house and move home. The burning feeling is something I never expected. I knew our relationship started to change but I couldn't for the life of me, find what was nagging at me these past few months and now I knew why. I always knew instinctively that some situations were as they seemed and now Stephanie has received what it's like to cross me. Rayden is about to find out what I had been doing behind the scenes to ensure his rise to the tops is where he needed to be.

After seeing what he is capable of that destroyed my faith and trust in him, I will really see if he can do what he always boasted about doing. His job was simple, he over saw all operations, logistics and administration for the company and yet this dude had been delegating his work and a few subordinate had the power similar too his because instead of ensuring his own loyalty he had swindled it with wining all his investors, who only a few would be interested in his ideas.

When I entered I had captivated all who came around him and I was more intellectually with most investors then he was as I have an ivy league background with a family history that links back generations. Rayden comes from a small town with a modernized family who all worked hard for all the achievements. Yet he took it for granted recently and probably doesn't even realized he was losing his footing in his company and I was gonna watch it burn down. "I booked us a house outside the city, it's beautiful. Let me get my importants and we can go get dinner before heading there?," I questioned as I took another shot before doing up one for each sibling.

"What do you feel like?," Sebastian asked as he scrolled on his phone. "Seafood boil please. That place is yummy," I spoke as I hiccup while staring at them. "Well let's eat then head to a hotel," he spoke as we all grabbed our stuff, locking the door behind us as we made our way down stairs to the car park. As there were two cars Maverick walked over to my car and Sebastian followed behind us. "Are you sure about returning home?," Maverick asked as I stared ahead. "Yes. I graduated, I dated and learned my first heart break. I'm ready to come home." I said as I leaned my chair back, as we cruised through the beautiful streets heading to the most famous shop in the city.

Since both siblings didn't know what too expect, it is something worth their attention to try, especially now that I am leaving this city behind. Watching there reactions was funny. Both are six feet nine each almost off by a few inches but not much. Watching them put the gloves and aprons on was even more funny as I watched them struggle with the flimsy thing. Quickly assisting them, scolding them about being big babies, even pointing other patrons there size doing it with ease that shit them both up. Since my brothers have always been bigger than others but today is not the case, they blend in like everyone else.

The amazement on their faces as the stared around at the pack restaurant as I patiently waited for our meal to arrive. When it did both their faces were staring at it all big eyed and everything. When the person left, we blessed our Kai before we are our feast like when we were children. Since I am not a fan of crab I ate everything else, both my brothers enjoyed it, that we got another tray for us to leave with since we will be travelling for the next few days until I have sold everything here before heading home. The flavoured drinks were a big hit between my brothers and tried two flavours each and to say they were all delicious.

Once we were all full, the food was superb, the drinks were definitely different, flavourful and worth every sip. knowing that it may be a long time before ever coming back but knowing great food spots, great bar spots and where you need it if your after space. My brothers took lots of photos before we left finding ourselves at the hotel booked, when we all turned in early.

While I was half way across the city when chaos amongst my ex and his company had come to light of his misconduct while in his position, having access to his company credit card and the amount of charges that were then asked to be refunded, Rayden and Stephanie were being dissected from the time this all started. The moment Stephanie stepped into the company she had been making noticeable moves that had started to take notice, especially since it was other people that were submitting projects he was in charge of and was slowly losing his footing and now, after Stephanie stole another managers work , it has all come to head.

Rayden thought he could swallow in self pity for getting caught and now he was facing the back lash whether he was prepared or not it was coming at him now. As the head of the corporation were now all sitting on front of him, who had stood by him with every business decision and now to see there hard work be not worth his time, his energy not even a call. He was slowly losing his family and friends of his secretary who blew his life up. His girlfriend broke up with him after walking in on him, his company is going under and he's not there managing it.

His family empire was being rocked and he was too busy drowning his sorrows, not taking anything into accounts not. All the workers he had delegated the jobs top had now started fighting back and being able to stabilize everything while ensuring that all work, projects and authorization be put through the higher ups on the channel since Rayden was know where to be seen and his family was in a uproar.
