“I asked him not to bond me.”

“So you’re upset because he bonded you when you asked him not?”

“Yes,” I growled.

Michel sighed. Dropping the cloth into the water, he leaned to the side to reach for so something else. He was silent except for giving me instructions as he washed my hair.

“You bit David,” he said suddenly, making my eyes snap to his.

“I thought he was hurting Bella!” I yelled.

Michel held up a hand. “I know that, sweet pea. Bella told me what happened, but the point is that you bit him and therefore you created a bond with him.”

“I can’t feel him like I feel you and Tyrone.” I frowned down at my knees. “I didn’t bite him to bond him.”

“I know.” He reached up and tugged on a strand of my hair. “But the point is that you bit him and although your bond is not strong, it’s still there. Tyrone was furious when we got home and he saw your mark on David but instead of doing what his instincts urged him to do, he took care of you.”
